😩 We wrecked the paint on our truck!! 😩We desperately needed to remove some seriously bad water etching that was caused by being washed with really hard water while we were in WA 🥺The paint and windows were pretty much destroyed. We did our research & had so many referrals from previous customers of PDD Detailing so Chis went down for a chat & we knew these guys would be able to save the day! 🥳
What causes water etching??
Water can cause damage if it is left untreated over time and minerals can begin to fuse to the paintwork, glass or trim. In our case - all three! 😳 These minerals begin to etch their way into the surface, creating water-etching. This can happen after a long period, or quite quickly. Regardless of what protection is on your vehicle. Ours is PPF wrapped which stopped scratches but not this disaster!

In tonight’s ep we show you how we stay charged up so we can stay off grid longer - with no gas and no generator! Well, we have what we like to call our ‘silent generator’ in our thanks to 🤙🏼
We are not huge fans of people running their gennies in free camps - so we think of others & try to keep our noise level to a minimum. Aside from Chris’s booming voice I think we do alright! 😂
We find this solution brilliant! Check it out on our YT channel from 4pm tonight. What’s your opinion on generators? Are ok with the neighbour running them or do you prefer serenity? 🐦 🐨 🌳 🤔

A few snaps of the Gibb River Road … Sandy, Rocky, corrugated, wet, dry, sharp … you name - these tyres have hit it! And we are proud to say we made it with zero breakages. A true testament to these 😁🤙🏼
