Our T-Kids classes are carefully and thoughtfully designed to provide our young students with fun while learning Taekwondo fundamentals! Our well-learned instructors aim to engage our students as much as possible while teaching them basic techniques, that will form the foundation of their skills as they advance through the various belt levels.

Master Rivas is at his Rivas-JH Kim Taekwondo Malaysia to conduct special classes for our students. Today was the first of two days of these MasterClasses and here are some photos which highlighted what went on today!
Today, Master Rivas conducted traditional forms and self defence classes, students enjoyed themselves while training together. They learnt different power-based skills and worked on a variety of armed and unarmed combat techniques.
Master Rivas also stressed on the importance of keeping safe and working carefully with their partners while practising these drills.
Another series of exciting classes are scheduled for tomorrow, so quickly sign up and join us if you haven’t done so already!

Day 4 of our Rivas-JH Kim Junior Instructor Course, and it’s Graduation Day for our very first batch of Junior Instructors!
But first, exam time!
We conducted a practical assessment for our JIs by breaking them out into smaller groups where they took turns to conduct classes for their classmates. We observed how brave they were, stepping out of their comfort zone to speak and teach their own groups.
After break time, our JIs had to take theory test, and everyone passed with flying colours! Well done!
During the course, we had seen how our young students challenged themselves - they sat through a Taekwondo theory class, learnt to assist and manage a typical class, and even trained outdoors! Everyone exhibited exemplary behaviors - they conducted themselves with dignity and decorum, and displayed leadership skills, initiative and determination. We are so proud of all of them!
Thank you to all our Junior Instructors and parents for your unwavering support and encouragement. We hope that you’ve enjoyed attending the course as much as we have enjoyed ourselves planning and conducting it. Well done and congratulations everyone! 👏🏼🤩

Fathers are the stalwarts of the family; the strong and formidable pillars of the home. Their sturdy shoulders carry us up high so that we can reach for the stars; their steady hands toil so that we can have the courage to imagine the impossible.
Our daddies are our real-life superheroes, cape, crown and all!

We conducted an explosive board breaking class for our students at Rivas-JH Kim Taekwondo Bali (Sanur) over the weekend, and we are so pleased that our students were focused, serious and gave their best!
Board breaking is part of our Taekwondo curriculum, and successful board breaking results from a combination of these elements - power, precision and depth.
Till the next board breaking special class, let’s continue training hard together! 🤩

Weapons training is one of the components of our Taekwondo system. And here at Rivas-JH Kim Malaysia, our Vice-Principal and Head Instructor Chu Mala, is a learned and skilled sword fighting exponent.
We conducted an exciting sword fighting class at Rivas-JH Kim Malaysia over the weekend and we are happy that our students learnt a different set of skills and techniques, building upon their Taekwondo fundamentals.
We are always exploring ways to provide our students with a comprehensive Taekwondo curriculum that will make them well-rounded martial artists.
