DEPED TO LAUNCH PILOT FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN SELECTED 120 SCHOOLS

About 100 public and 20 private schools in minimal-risk
COVID-19 areas are set to participate in the pilot limited face-to-face classes of the Department of Education following the approval of President Duterte. The rest of the basic education schools in the Philippines will continue with blended distance learning.

On the Pilot Implementation of Limited Face-to-Face Classes
December 15, 2020 - The Department of Education welcomes the approval of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and the Cabinet of the conduct of pilot face-to-face classes implementation in very select schools within areas with low COVID-19 risk for the whole month of January 2021, following strict health and safety standards. Learners will not be compelled to participate and can continue their distance learning set-up.
