📣 HELP WANTED - SEEKING PART-TIME FARM WORKER

Part-time farm help needed for a horse boarding/training facility in Scottsville, VA. 3-4 days per week, 4-5 hours each day.

Duties will include: mucking stalls, doing water buckets, sweeping, keeping barn clean/organized, and horse feeding/turnout. Other farm maintenance tasks (like cleaning pastures and water troughs) will also be required.

Experience handling horses is necessary. Must have a good work ethic, be willing to learn, and have reliable transportation.

Salary up to $17.00 per hour depending on experience.

📣 HORSE FOR SALE

Securing the Faith, aka Faith, is a lovely 2010, 16.1h Bay TB mare. She is Jockey Club registered, but has never raced. Faith has trained in dressage, hunters, and eventing, and she would be a capable combined training prospect. She can travel long and low for the pleasure classes, but can also be brought into a proper dressage frame. She has shown in the Hunter division and has evented at the Beginner Novice level, where she placed second.

Faith is not a beginner’s horse; she needs a confident, experienced rider with a soft touch.
She can hack out or be turned out alone or with company. She enjoys getting attention and one-on-one time with her person.

Faith is well-behaved for the farrier and vet and is up to date on all her vaccinations and Coggins. Her teeth were just floated in July, and her most recent vet report (May 2022) is available.
Asking $4,500.00.
