Got out in Brisbane last night with Vicki and Francis from Brisbane Photography courses to practice with the SLRs before heading to the Cold Countries in Feb 24
Short trip to Drake area NSW- Rocky Creek road, camping on thr river and panning for gold. Great weather and a lovely spot to get away from it all.

Camp # Mt Perry # Sth East Qld gold group
Got a few days away at FigTree Camp, Mt Perry with the Sth East Qld Gold group. Great days and cool nights. Hard work for a few spots of colour. One of the group snagged a 1.2 g nugget.

Managed to escape the yard for a day and headed to Toowoomba- had had eyes on the Cobb and Co Coach museum. What a great display, more than just coaches. Great day out. Space, coach works, indigenous section, Science hands-on and children's playground.
