Cedar Rock Ranch
Registered and non-registered Nubian dairy goats. We enjoy goats, horses, poultry, and a variety of other pets on our small Ozark ranch.
Our Nubian/Alpine wether, Jake, is still looking for new pastures. He is the only one left out of our herd and he just isn’t happy living alone. Jake has been a great pet and “herd leader” for us. We would love to find him a pasture with other large breed goats where he can just be a pet or brush goat.
Berryville, AR. Please PM.
(SOLD) If you’re looking for a big producer with a very sweet, gentle personality, Sky is your girl! She is an Alpine/Nubian mix with two gorgeous bucklings on her.
Right now we are only milking her enough to take the extra pressure off, but still getting over 2 quarts twice a day. She is one of our favorite does and we would really like to find a great spot for her.
Berryville, AR.
(SOLD) We have more spots! 😀 Look at this gorgeous buckling just born a few minutes ago!
His sister is black and tan - will get pics when she dries off better!
The mom, Bandit, is ADGA 75% grade Nubian. The sire is ADGA Purebred Nubian. Her doeling can be registered as an American Nubian. Her buckling will be unregistered. All are seeking a new barn.
Closed, clean herd. Berryville, AR
(SOLD) Violet, ADGA American Nubian, had two bucklings on Monday, March 18th. They are adorable and very friendly! Look at the marking on the one - so much white!
Violet is lovable and readily hops on to the stanchion for milking.
Closed, clean herd. Berryville, AR
ADGA American and Purebred Nubian does, doelings, and bucklings.
An Alpine/Nubian mix doe that is a great milk producer and extremely sweet with her two bucklings. And a pet wether, same mix.
Most are disbudded, a few are not. We cannot deliver very far, but can usually go an hour or less for a delivery f e e.
Clean, closed herd. Berryville, AR
Anyone desire a sweet Alpine/Nubian wether as a pet or guardian for their herd? We kept him to encourage our does to go out further to browse on our small, mostly wooded 30 acre plot. That works great. Somehow the does feel safer with him around even though he is actually scared of his own shadow. 😂 He will do almost anything for a treat! Closed, clean herd in Berryville. Whole herd is having to go. 😞
(SOLD) Nubian doelings or bucklings anyone? I have some cuties! Would prefer to keep kids with their moms, but can part with a few little ones. All of the Nubians can be registered. Closed, clean herd. Berryville.
The dogs love milking time! 😋
SOLD- Tinker Belle kidded Thursday. She has a buckling and doeling. Tink is a 6-year-old registered Nubian. She throws moon-spotted kids some years, but not this time. 😞 The black and tan kids are still cute, though!
Tink is actually letting me milk her in her pen this year without a collar or being in the stanchion. Like with my other does this year, I’m just milking a little off occasionally. Mostly, her kids get all the milk.
Tink obviously has horns, but her kids will be disbudded.
Closed, clean herd. Berryville, AR
Tinker Belle kidded Thursday evening. One buckling and one doeling. Will post more pics and info soon.
(SOLD) Ladybug is a slightly timid but sweet registered Nubian. This is her second kidding. She has a beautiful doeling and a handsome buckling that were born March 9th. Both kids can be registered. She also had a buckling and doeling last year.
Ladybug is getting used to the stanchion and letting me milk. Just taking off the pressure off twice a day.
(SOLD) Mocha is a sweet moon-spotted 2 year old Nubian that can be registered - apparently I forgot to register her at birth. 🤦🏼♀️ She is a first freshener with one gorgeous buckling born on March 8th. The buckling can also be registered.
Mocha is quickly learning to get on the milking stanchion. I am currently just taking a little of the pressure off twice a day.
Sky kidded on Friday, March 8th. She is half Nubian/half Alpine. An extremely gentle goat that is our favorite out of our herd.
She is three years old, and this was her second kidding. She has two nice looking bucklings this year. One has unique markings - Alpine looking except for a very white patch on one side. Look like he almost got his sire’s white belt!
If you are looking for a nice milk goat, this is it! Her dam was our largest producer. I am currently just taking 3-4 quarts off her daily to keep her from getting too uncomfortable while her kids are too little to consume much. With more milking, she will produce more than I want to milk!
I have quite a few Nubians and a few Alpine/Nubian crosses. A mature buck, some mature does, as well as bucklings and doelings.
All adult Nubians are registered, and kids can be registered. A few have horns; most are disbudded. Closed herd in Berryville.
Will list individual pics of each soon. Some does have kidded over the last few days. Some will be soon.
Pictured here for attention: Black/white buck that has sired beautiful kids, moon spotted doe to kid soon (older pic - she is quite round ATM! 😂), and a large wether who is a pet and herd “guardian”.
