Restocked my 4/4 walnut today. This is a little nicer than the last batch. I should have my first kiln load with dimensional 9/4 walnut and a ton of live edge slabs by the end of next week! Let me know if you are interested in having something built or purchasing the lumber!

Another Christmas gift done! A 2 drawer bandsaw box with jewelry inserts made from rainbow poplar, finished with

Humidor and 1 jewelry box finished! The humidor has a cedar interior with a friction fit lid to seal the humidity in. Pretty happy with how these turned out!

Jewelry box construction success! Cutting the lids and installing the hinges was a breeze! Insert construction this weekend!

This afternoons project was rebuilding the rotten frame, insulating as I went. Then putting the original window case back in place. Tomorrow I’ll fix the plaster edge, put the trim back, and paint.

Another piece done! This one was built to match the hutch I did a few months ago.

Finished our front door today! Here’s a before and after.

Working on a door casing on our house. I put screws into wood that was put in place sometime in the 1760’s! The other boards were nailed in place with old school cut nails. I glued some poplar panels to make the outer casing. I’ll hopefully get that in place tomorrow!

Here are a few things I’ve made over the last few years. If you’re looking for custom furniture or have a small cabinet job, send me a message. I might even make another piano shelf if you ask nicely.😂

Door project finished! At least on the outside…I’ll get the inside next week when it gets cooler outside. Hopefully this provides a little more protection from the winter wind than the old, uninsulated door did.

Mahogany night stands done! These were finished with pure. Love how the Mahogany grain sparkles!

Finished up a solid walnut entertainment console today! All the walnut was cut on my property over a decade ago. Really happy with how it turned out! Once again made the colors really pop!
