The team supports adults& Young with a range of disabilities to live in the community in a variety of housing options.
About the role
Personal and domestic assistance for clients at home or in the neighborhood, including attending appointments, shopping and more. This role is to assist our clients to enjoy social or recreational activities, build essential life skills, and participate in their local community.
The role will require:
Companion support for social events, recreational or sporting activities.
Supporting clients to build new skills through the delivery of client-centered, innovative programs such as arts & craft, music, health & fitness.
Assisting clients at mealtimes,with personal care needs and administering medication
Candidate preferred requirements:
• Education/Experience in Community Services, Community Welfare,Mental Health, Disability or Nursing Background
• Valid NSW Driver's License & their own vehicle
• Experience supporting complex and challenging behaviors
• Disability certificate III /IV
• NSW Working with Children Check
• CPR and First aid certificate
• Location: You must be available to work in the Western Sydney Region
