Does this sound familiar? Yogis, did you already know this?
I’d love to know your experience with chakra balancing.
My 5 fave ways to balance the first chakra
1. Grounding: socks off and on to the earth
2. Belly breaths: be still and breathe deep and slow
3. Massage: to yourself or from a friend- physical touch is soo essential in our lives
4. Forest bathing: get to the trees and stay a while
5. Affirmations: comment AFFIRMATIONS and I’ll send you a beautiful poster filled with root chakra affirmations
We explore this together on retreat, join us in South England this September 2024

Did you know that scents have different vibrations, just like sound? In our aromatherapy workshop, we explore this, along with the incredible health benefits of essential oils.
Then we create our own unique blend to take home.
This helps us carry the retreat magic back in to our daily lives, and share it with loved ones too!

On our retreats, we live by the principle that food is medicine. Everything we offer is natural, organic, homemade, vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free. Our incredible Chef, Zoe also makes it hearty and delicious. After each meal we feel nourished rather than stuffed. We share all the recipes and Zoe is very much a part of the retreat, so any time you want to know her process, she’s always happy to share!

Oh, and sometimes we sing, dance, shake, draw, laugh and cry.
It’s all welcome.

Permission to just start! It’s all about getting in to your body.. and tuning in to what you need.
Here are some ways to get started... it’s not exhaustive, so if you fancy diving straight in to downward dog, go for it (gently!)
As long as we move with attention and intention.. it’s bound to feel good.
Leading your own movement practice is a great way to grow and expand, to show kindness to your being. To truly go inwards.
And if that looks like stillness.. that’s perfect too.
In the next days I’ll share examples of how my yoga practice starts from each of these places.
In my classes and retreats I hold space for you to find the yoga practice of your dreams.. join us and see why ✨🙏🏻
I think I’m gonna have to print the last picture because I can’t stop looking at it 😁
If I could have sketched out the experience I wanted guests on my day retreats to have, this would be it.
Freedom, going inwards and connection with nature 💚
Yesterday was our final day retreat at the ponds this year, and how beautiful it was.
We started with yoga and breathwork, and then out came the reclined Buddha statue for a sharing circle (I’ll explain more in a post this week)..
. then with hearts full and held, our little group went to the ponds for a cold dip 💦
. followed by a vibrant shared lunch, and then a meditation under that beautiful tree, remembering how incredible and life giving they are 💚
The next day retreat will be somewhere cosy in December. Join my mailing list or WhatsApp group to be the first to know (links in my bio)
My retreats, classes and circles are a place for you to feel safe, welcomed, and free to show up as yourself.
Come and join our growing community of peaceful, loving beings ✨
Message me with a heart and we’ll take it from there ❤️
Our evening sessions are Yin, because we can all connect with our gentler side 🩵
Photos from the weekend!!
Probably a good thing I don’t have all the photos yet since there were so many amazing moments to share with you..
Something about it being 3 nights allows us to really go deep 🩵🌊💦
Just look at this beautiful group 🌼
I’ll write more soon.. including how I accidentally ended up in the POND in my pants and how it was with only one man joining.. in my monthly newsletter (link is in my bio).
So much appreciation for every single soul who really stepped outside of their comfort zones: tried things they’d never done before; and practiced putting themselves first ❤️

Yoga on retreat is amazing because we get to practice alongside like-minded souls that are here to celebrate our well-being.
Seen here:
Moments to pause and go inwards,
Partner yoga to the sounds of the forest,
Guests flowing at their own pace next to new friends,
And getting the best kind of contagious giggles
Not seen here:
Us breathing to music,
Some weird and wonderful dance yoga-ing,
Offering my hands to help muscle tension and emotional release,
Visualising pachamama breathing with us and cradling us 💚
Twice daily yoga really fills the cup ✌🏼
Thank you Mudeford hutters for a wonderful weekend! I love sharing yoga with you all on our lovely beach.
I think we spanned 6 decades or so didn’t we! And today 5 people joined who had never done yoga before 🩵 what a thing

Incoming 🔥HOT 🔥 News!!
I am overjoyed to announce there’s going to be a Singing Sauna Ceremony at our Women’s Forest Retreat this September‼️
I met a wild woman called Isabella while dancing a year ago and last week she introduced me to something special: playfully-sacred Singing Sauna Ceremonies.
The magic of Isabella is that she sings and speaks from her heart, is present, sweet, and weirdly wonderful.
In her ceremonies she creates an incredible connection to the elements and everyone at the Ecstatic Dance Festival last week (including me) absolutely loved the experience 🧖♀️🌿🥵💦
Singing into the hot whisked air and slathering your face in a natural chocolate face mask makes it a truly unique and very real experience!
So I reached out to Isabella and she’s agreed to lead one in the Wild Spa next month.
And if you’re wondering how it’s going to feel… swipe to see the finished effect! 🍊🍫
Book your ticket for 8-10 September Women’s Forest Yoga Retreat with Wild Spa now ✨ and the Signing Sauna Session is included in your ticket 🎟️

Which do you like best? 👉🏼
It feels amazing to be read to, especially when you’re still snuggly after savasana just letting the words wash over and hug you like a blanket.
Off to the Ecstatic Dance Festival later today for a long weekend of
💃🏻 dancing,
🙌🏼 connection,
🎶 music,
🎤 singing,
🙆🏻♀️ movement,
😮💨 breathing,
and
(believe it or not) : Rest 🦦
I love dancing like no one’s watching surrounded by people who are doing the same.
*Ecstatic Dance is a practice of free, mindful movement with a host + DJ, who chooses songs that take you on a journey. It’s a held space with no words, booze, phones or shoes. To me, it’s an extension of my yoga practice, helping me connect with the divine within, and witnessing others feel the same!
The most beautiful view 💚🇮🇪
Can’t believe I actually thought 5 weeks would be long enough!
We only scratched the surface, but I absolutely loved leading practice that went deeper in to yoga philosophy and science.
The last session of our Park Yoga Immersion was rained off so we went into . The perfect setting for us to sip cacao, dedicate affirmations to our spirit, and experience what was there.
Moving from head to heart 🤎
It was a deep and beautiful final session where lots came up, and we tapped in to how yoga can hold us as well as set free those limiting beliefs.
The Course:
Week 1: Grounding in to presence, the 8 limbs of yoga, why it’s all about meditation and how experience life moment by moment.
Week 2: Introduction to the yamas and niyamas, and how to live our virtues.
Week 3: Creating a personal relationship with the breath. Pranayama practices and what we mean by ‘breathwork’ these days.
Week 4: An introduction to the 7 main Chakras. Getting a sense of energy in our bodies and how to balance them with the breath.
Week 5: What Dharma is and how we can begin to be lead by ours.
I think the best part was finding souls that are so open, dedicated and curious 🙏🏻❤️
If you’d like to join for the next round, send me a message and I’ll be sure to let you know the details.
I’m thinking -
✨ 10 weeks
✨ Each session with a deep dive in to a well-known asana (posture)
✨ History, philosophy, anatomy and really feeling it in the body
✨ Sign up to the whole course, or there will be drop-in price tickets too

Incase you weren’t sure… ✨
I had to follow this quote with some beautiful faces from my recent camera roll.
Having a moment to appreciate some incredible friendships I treasure so dearly.
I struggled with groups of girls at school and university… and ’s retreat this weekend helped me understand how common this is, not just from younger days, but even amongst women as they become mothers and beyond.
I realised how many of us step on others, to claim our spot in some kind of pecking order.
I feel drawn to heal those painful experiences, and to create spaces to help turn those stories in to ones of love, compassion, acceptance and support.
If you’d like to know more, message me and say hi 👋🏼 or watch this space, new things are coming soon 💗
👭
The first 2 limbs of the 8 limbed path of yoga are these beautiful ethical guidelines that I love reading and listening about, since there is so much to get in to ❤️✨🙏🏻
I often refer to the breath as an anchor. To help focus the mind, a tool to bring us in to meditation.
And also we could think about it as a bridge. A way to connect from the physical to the metaphysical (more on that later).
But my favourite is as a reliable companion. Always right there when we need it, like a great friend: able to help us feel better when we need it ☺️
That came to me today when teaching and I loved it so much I had to share!
Happy Friday friends ✨💙🙏🏻
Yoga: my sanctuary, my compass, and my constant companion.
I’m overjoyed to be back at the most beautiful beach this Saturday and Sunday at 10am 💙✨🙏🏻
See my website if you don’t already know the spot. It’s in Dorset, not far from Christchurch. I would love to welcome you 🌊
