Thanks for your votes! The top picture won. Desk built. I'm winded.

I've done this before with these types of legs but I think the wood was pine. This is walnut and was so much harder to drill through, pilot holes and all.

Came out nice, though! Good and heavy so I can clamp cameras and lights to.

I'm so excited! I just got the most beautiful desktop delivered! I have to attach the legs today and I can't decide which side I want to make the "top".

What do you think? Which side would you prefer to see as the new backdrop for all my art live streams?
