Social Work Newsletter - November 2022 Gratitude

Is your teen ready for high school? Are you ready for your teen to be a high schooler? Do you know what your child needs to be successful in high school? This first time-ever parent workshop is designed to support you and your teen in this time of transition!

Join us at the CUBE Bus at the Forest Creek, 885 E Mishawaka Rd Elkhart, IN 46517, for this free event, open to all parents and caregivers of incoming eighth-graders and freshmen/ninth-graders in Elkhart County public schools. Refreshments will be available, and presentations will be given in English and Spanish.

Monday, November 7, 2022

5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.,Pizza outside the bus in front of the main office.

6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Triple P - Positive Parenting Program in Elkhart County will give a presentation called "Doing Well in High School."

In the last half-hour, learn about an opportunity available to all students at Elkhart County high schools: CareerWise Modern Youth Apprenticeship, designed to help students jump start their education and their careers with real-world employment, potential credit toward college and professional certifications, and a paycheck for their hard work!
