🙌 ⚽ POLISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE HELPS
PLN 90,230 for Heros
thanks to the campaign
Last weekend, as part of the charity campaign, Fortuna committed to donate PLN 1 to the charges of the Herosi Foundation for every fan who turned up at matches of Fortuna 1 League, PGE Ekstraliga, Legia Warszawa and Radomiak Radom. In total, as many as 90,240 fans were present at the 13 stadiums! Thus, the amount of PLN 90,240 will be donated to help fight the little warriors with their illness.
This is how attendance was distributed among the campaign partners:

"I am glad that once again we managed to unite fans of different sports and teams around the idea of helping those in need, and coming to the stadium to support their club took on a special meaning last weekend. I would like to thank all the fans who decided to come to the game at the weekend, as well as the representatives of the leagues and clubs who supported the promotion of the campaign with their commitment," - said Konrad Komarczuk, President of Fortuna Online Zakłady Bukmacherskie.
The Herosi Foundation has been children with cancer since 2009. It pays for unreimbursed treatment, buys specialised medical equipment and provides rehabilitation and treatment. We accompany patients of the Oncology Clinic of the Mother and Child Institute in Warsaw. The dream is to fund free targeted treatment for children for as long as possible (currently not reimbursed by the National Health Service), which will help them recover away from the hospital bed.
Thanks to this form of therapy, sick children receive their medication at home and can enjoy time with their peers.

FEG ROMANIA AT CODRU FESTIVAL 2023
🔊 On 25-27 August, a part of our FEG Ro team participated in organizing a series of activities at Codru Festival, near Timisoara, where in April we planted some trees.

BLOOD DONATION IN ROMANIA
💉 On August 9th we organized a blood donation event. Almost 20 people donated, some of them for the first time and we´re planning another one soon.We offered snacks, water and soda for those who donated, there was a doctor and some nurses.

It has been almost 3 years since the slovak MMA fighter Ľudovít "Lajoš" Klein became the face of FORTUNA SK. HR Romania's Team Building
On a sunny Friday in July, our Romanian HR team set out on an exciting surprise team-building activity: horseback riding! 🐎
For the majority of the team members, it marked their first encounter with horses and riding. The trip was challenging, and there were moments when some felt like giving up. But in the end, everyone got back safely and even said that they would do it again!
The day began with a ride up a hill, followed by a shepherd's lunch with polenta, cheese, and sausage, and naturally concluded with a journey back down the hill.

In June a group of fishing enthusiasts from our Romanian team met at Balta Lupșanu 2, where they competed to see who could catch the biggest fish!
George Mîndrila took first place with his catch weighing in at an impressive 1.7 kg! Close behind were Adrian Ranete with his 1.68 kg fish, and Robert Ghenade, with a catch of 1.62 kg

FORTUNA POLAND TEAMBULDING
shops continue to play a significant role in our business, and the employees who work in these shops are an integral part of our Fortuna PL team. With them in mind, we initiated a series of integration meetings for our employees last year. Due to the widespread distribution of our Retail team, we organized these meetings on a regional basis. We successfully held one meeting last year, and this year we have already conducted two more. Furthermore, we are planning to hold additional meetings after the holiday season.
Each event included engaging team-building activities that fostered healthy competition, along with opportunities for meaningful conversations both professionally and personally. The lively gatherings also featured a vibrant dance party complemented by delicious food. Notably, representatives from our headquarters actively participated in these meetings, providing them with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with individuals they had previously only spoken to over the phone.
As you can see in the photos, our events proved to be highly successful and delivered a tremendous amount of enjoyment for both our Retail and HQ !

GROUP FEG HR TEAMBUILDING
Our HR team in Prague recently set out on an overnight excursion in the beautiful Czech countryside. The eventful day kicked off with strategic workshops focused on our company values and strategy. The team then participated in various activities and competitions, including a creative exercise which had them creating FEG mascots! Later, they had the opportunity to wind down with a yoga session and leisurely pool time. The day wrapped up with an evening of food, drinks, music, and laughs.
This shared experience left everyone feeling energized, connected, and stronger as a team!
FORTUNA SLOVAKIA - TABLE FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Kalčeto Liga (as we called it here in Slovakia) started as an idea of one colleague, Patrik, but quickly outgrown into a several-month project under his supervision. Eighteen players in nine pairs took part in the competition. Forty-four exciting matches were played, with more than unbelievable 500 goals! opened the league with the first match on the 14th of April. The last and final one was accompanied by a celebration on the 15th of June with an exclusive beginning. The first ball was thrown into the table field by our general manager who also handed over medals for the winners at our all-employee meeting.
We appreciate Patrik's engagement and can't wait for new ideas!

OUR CITY
Naše mesto (Our City) is Slovakia's largest corporate volunteering event, and we couldn't miss out on participating. This year, in spite of the rainy weather, we put on our raincoats and gave a kindergarten playground area a facelift! Bushes were shaped, weeds were pulled, and the foundation for the future construction of a fountain was laid. Nothing, not even rain, can stop us from helping people!

THE 5TH ANNUAL SPARTAN FIVE CHARITY RUN
For the 5th edition of the Spartan Five charity run, 542 runners gathered for a 5 km run to raise money in support of a brave young girl, Ivanka, who is living with a difficult illness.
The race started and finished at the Fortuna Sports Hall, and was attended by A-team hockey players, fans, and thirty of our own employees. Thanks to all those who participated, an incredible 250 000 Czech crowns was raised for Ivanka.

PRAGUE CITY SWIM
🌊 On a warm summer weekend, 200 athletes gathered at the Yacht Club Cere to participate in Prague City Swim, a charity organized by the ALSA z.s. in support of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The event, which marked its 5th annual occurrence this year, was attended by several well-known personalities from show business, together with some of our , who competed in solo swim and megaboard races!
Thanks to the large number of participants and spectators, Alsa raised a record 800,000 Czech crowns.
