This amazing charity is made up of world-class pioneering scientists that work to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia.

Theresa has been making loads of Christmas Tree Decorations, Poppies and the main project is a blanket!🧶🧶

We currently have a vacancy for an Administrative Assistant.

The role will be predominantly providing support for the Sales & Buying Teams and duties include setting up product codes, creating promotions and handling new customer enquiries.

Other duties include completing various administrative tasks such as customer VAT checks, reviewing customer export evidence, scanning documents, website administration, identifying stock issues, managing the goods in booking in line as well as stock management, managing customer back-order alerts etc.

We are looking for someone who is confident, pays attention to detail and can work both independently and part of a team. You need to be able to prioritise your workload, and work well under pressure. Ideally you will have experience in Microsoft 365 software, with a good working knowledge of Excel. If you have some administrative experience, that would be beneficial but not necessary, as full training will be provided.

Salary starts at £23,000 per year, dependant on experience, and is paid weekly on a Friday. Some of the benefits we offer are free parking, shut down over Christmas, dress down Fridays, staff discounts, cycle to work scheme, annual bonus, training and development and long service bonuses. We also have various staff “get togethers” throughout the year.

This is a full-time permanent role with an immediate start. Working hours are 08:30-16:30 Monday to Friday, with ½ hour unpaid lunch break.

We took part in the Liverpool John Moores University Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory Project earlier in the year!♻️

After an initial on-site assessment by the LJMU team, a data gathering exercise was done by Regal and was provided to LJMU. The project team have provided Regal with their current carbon footprint, as well as guidance on how to reduce the footprint going forward.

Regal is committed to reducing their carbon footprint to save our planet and will be working hard to reduce their carbon footprint!

Thank you to Hungrys bromborough for our Chinese! We had another record month and decided to celebrate and treat the team!

So today we celebrate the life of Terry Mooney, more affectionately known by all as “Uncle Te”, who passed away recently at the age of 92.

Terry had been a customer and friend of Regal and the team for over 40 years that he traded with us.

He met Bill (Billy Regal) in the mid 80’s, operating his own wholesale round serving “little old ladies” and with his wit and caring nature soon became a permanent member of the Regal family, without ever working for us.

He continued to visit the warehouse 3 or 4 times a week, at every one of our 5 different locations over the years right up until his retirement in his late 80’s just 4 years ago.

Everyone who got to know him will tell you he was one of the loveliest people you could ever meet. He would always make a point of introducing himself to the new, and often shy, young starters whom he helped instantly feel settled in their first job since leaving school.

Often joining us at our Christmas parties, Chester race days and even personal weddings and christenings he will remain a very special member of the Regal family and it’s history.

A true great.

Our MD Chris Hughes with Distribution Sales manager Gareth Price where presented with the award for "Specialist Member of the Year" having “demonstrated exceptional growth figures achieved by investing heavily in their systems and collaborating with Unitas and their fellow members keeping them firmly on track to meet 2025 target figures”.

Comedian Patrick Kielty and Unitas MD John Kinney, both pictured above, hosted the awards announcing each winner would receive £500 to donate to a charity of their choice.

The charity we have chosen is Wirral based Stick 'n' Step.

Stick ‘n’ Step supports children with cerebral palsy and their families and we are delighted to be able to share this success with them. For more info on Stick N Step go to their website www.sticknstep.org

At last weeks Unitas Exhibition & Awards in Liverpool we were extremely proud to be awarded the Unitas Specialist Member of the Year 2022 award. Receiving the award from comedian Patrick Kielty was MD Chris Hughes with Distribution Sales head Gareth Price. The decision panel noted ongoing digital investment coupled with exceptional sales growth and clear future plans to meet the company’s 2025 strategic goals as the key reasons for the award

Regal are very excited to have been shortlisted for 2 awards at this years Annual UNITAS Awards Evening. The Awards are Standard/Specialist of the Year and Member Award for Digital Innovation, and both recognise exceptional contributions throughout 2022. Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 8th March.
