MC Sim Racing

Starting on the 2nd of September, MC Sim Racing is hosting its Super Formula Lights - Season 1 series!
Using the iRacing platform, we will be utilising the iRacing fixed setups from each track.

We're looking for drivers to join the series, according to the criteria below ⬇️

- C class open wheeler license and above
- Must be a clean driver

Round 4 Results

The Temple of Speed was the destination for Round 4 and it proved to be full of good, close racing, up and down the field.

Alexander Wilson was the winner of Race 1, his second win of the season while Allan Dawson claimed his first victory in the reverse grid, race 2! Well done gents!

Myles still holding on in 1st place in the standings with myself in 2nd after some consistent top 5 results and Matt Carrigg enters 3rd place!

Round 5 we head to Rudskogen for what should prove to be a tough round and will sort the men from the boys with its undulating, off camber corners.

MCSR iRacing - GT3 Series
Round 3 Results ⬇️

The drivers headed to Sebring for Round 3 last night for what was some close racing at the front!

Alexander Wilson prevailed over Myles Bond and myself in Race 1 with a stellar drive from pole, all the way to the chequered flag in P1! Myles and myself tried our best to stay with Alex but to no avail. I had a great battle for 90% of the race with Dean Reddett. Gap to each other hovering around the 0.5 second mark for the majority.

Race 2 was taken out by Scott Stephens and again, Myles was locked into battle for the lead with myself just behind, and once again battling with Dean and Stefan.

P3 in both races for myself which I'm super stoked with! Elevated me to P3 in the standings 💪

Drivers head to The Temple of Speed for Round 4 which should prove to be a great race with the drafting and high speeds at Monza!

Apologies for the lack of streaming content, I've been concentrating on making sure the nights race session goes to plan as I'm running the series over at our MCSR discord!

Special mention to Pete, Charlie and Isaac for jumping into the stewards room to provide us all with live stewarding last night! Absolute legends 💪

MCSR iRacing - GT3 Series Results
Round 2 - Spa-Francorchamps

Drivers headed to the beautiful Ardennes mountains to Spa for what was always going to be a challenging round!

Myles Bond put in another stellar drive to win Race 1, a repeat of Round 1 of the series where he won at Oschersleben.

Race 2 saw the top 10 reversed and a 20 minute sprint. The safety car didn't stay parked for long though as drivers had a big accident through Eau Rouge and Raidillon, involving over 10 cars right at the start. Once the green flag fell and the race restarted, it was a 10 minute sprint to the end with myself in the lead, trying my best to keep Josh Van Treeck behind me. We had a great battle but Josh got past me with just over a lap to go and that's how it finished!

We head to Sebring for Round 3 on Monday night, a track voted on by the drivers themselves!

Races will be streamed most Monday nights from 7:30pm on the MCSR Facebook, YouTube and Twitch so make sure to tune in!

MCSR iRacing - GT3 Series Results!

Round 1 of this brand new series was run and done tonight with Myles Bond putting in a stellar drive to win Race 1.

John Schultz came through to pick up the win in Race 2 after a reverse top 10 grid!

Myles is leading the championship with 194 points, a 9 point buffer over Roberto Mocchetti in 2nd place with 185, followed by Matthew Carrigg on 182

The response for this series has been extremely overwhelming resulting in having to cap the entrants at 45. Thank you to everyone who's entered!

Nurbs 24hr update ⬇️

Laudi qualified the car in P32.
Start went great for a few laps, laudi made up about 9 or 10 places to around P22 before a rogue BMW driver decided he'd be a hero and take 2 other cars out and then missed the 2nd corner, causing Laudi to hit him in the rear, causing 3 minutes of damage.

4.5 hours in ⬇️

We're currently P25 with a long way to go. Myself and Laudi sharing the driving duties until roughly 6pm.

Keep this thing pointing straight and on the black stuff and we'll be on for a good result

Round 2 of the Alfa 4C Challenge took place over 54 laps at Daytona Oval!!

Plenty of fun racing, bump drafting, crashes, yellow flags and different strategies, with a hell of a lot of banter and good laughs in the voice chat 😂

I had an absolute ball this round and I came 9th 😂

Phil Dawrant ran a great race and came home with the win!! Congratulations!!

Nick Pautasso grabbed 2nd place and Steve Fletcher picked up 3rd!

Round 3, the series heads to Tsukuba for 50 laps after an extended break to pay our respects for ANZAC Day.
