tour du cap d’antibes is probably my favorite hike ever. 🌊

when you find yourself in the south of france, it’s a must do. the photos are beautiful, but nothing will ever do it justice like experiencing it for yourself. ✨

the 2 hour roundtrip hike has breathtaking views at every turn. and they only get better the farther you go.

the hike is mostly made up of pathways and steep, narrow stairs, with a few rocky crossings and areas where the path has washed away.

it was definitely a highlight of our time in france. and i earned alllll the pain au chocolat and strawberry filled beignets. 🥐

loved exploring thoronet abbey. a cistercian abbey tucked away in the heart of var’s forest in provence.

it’s especially beautiful this time of year with the leaves changing colors. 🍁 and such a treat to have it all to ourselves.

park guell was spectacular, and probably my favorite adventure of the trip so far. ✨

securing tickets proved a bit challenging, and i’m so happy we kept trying to get them. it’s definitely worth the trek.

edt tip: buy your tickets well in advance and directly on the park’s website. thank you to the for helping us get ours! 💕

i fell in love with san miguel de allende when i visited earlier this year. it’s everything i look for in a destination and more - authentic food, mountain backed sunsets, darling markets, local art, beautiful architecture and culture, friendly people, stunning boutique hotels, and lots to see and explore.

a lot of people have asked for recommendations since my trip, so i finally put pen to paper and made a little guide of what our magical week in san miguel looked like.

the quick version…

🏨 stay in a quaint boutique hotel
📸 roam the streets admiring the architecture and taking pictures
🥗 hit up all the rooftops for drinks, lunch & dinner
🛍️ shop the local markets for textiles, art, and handmade goodies
🧑🏼‍🍳 take a cooking class and learn to make an authentic meal
🎨 pop in galleries and talk to the artists
🎈 take a hot air balloon ride to see san miguel from above

insta butchered my last post so let’s try this again…

there’s something special about a resort that you can only get to by boat or plane. 🛥️✈️ it makes the arrival and departure so memorable and stretches your trip out just a little further.

my first experience like this was at last summer, which was also my first time on a float plane. the views were amazing and it was one of my favorite (and most relaxing) parts of the trip getting to see beautiful alaska nature from above. 🛩️🐋🦅🐻

in december, i arrived at by helicopter. i’ll never forget flying through the clouds, nosediving over the most beautiful coral reefs i’ve ever seen, or flying over the resort to land on the helipad. 🚁🪸

last week, i was lucky enough to arrive at by catamaran. i loved seeing the water get more clear and more blue the closer we got to isla mujeres. 🩵🌊

my favorite destinations continue to be the ones off the beaten path that require just a little more effort to get to. ✨

i’ve never understood why people ask “beach or mountains?” - obviously, it’s both. ⛰️☀️🚴🏼‍♀️

vail is my forever happy place, especially in the summer. hiking, biking, fun times at the red lion and vendettas, dinners at sweet basil, coffees at yeti’s grind, sushi at yama, listening to the sweet sounds of phil long playing at vail chophouse, and all the cute nearby towns to visit - these are just a few of the things i look forward to, and why i’m hoping to squeeze in one more trip back before summer is over! ✨

nature is my happy place. ☀️

we took the gondola up from vail, hiked fireweed over to lions head, and did the eagles nest loop. a very easy hike with incredible views! ✨

such a great way to decompress and go home feeling refreshed. ⛰️

the best afternoon spent with my amigo eddy at . super duper extra gracias for taking me out to experience cabo my favorite way: on the water. 🌊☀️

if you’re looking for an amazing fishing or boating experience in cabo, eddy is your guy. he has big papi and this new (to me) beauty, studio e - both in igy marina. 🛥️

when in los cabos, it’s always fun to spend a couple of nights in the marina!🛥️☀️

i love that, unlike many other all-inclusive resorts in mexico, you can walk from breathless to shops, restaurants, excursions, etc. los cabos has too much to offer to stay at your property the entire time. ✨
