A few highlights -

February - travelling to Taiwan, meeting 48 hour runners from across the world, breaking the Australian 48h record and 3rd place female in the Taiwan 48h Superhorse invitational.

April - helping to crew the 2023 24h Australian Champion in Melbourne.

July - AUS 24h invitational 2023 female champion, and breaking 3 age category records (24h, 200km and 100miles) whilst doing so.

August - being named the female captain for the 2023 Australian team for the World Championships held in Taiwan.

August - December - establishing friendships and creating the best team bond with the 2023 World Championship females.

September - new marathon PB at the Sydney marathon.

December - 2023 World Championships and putting everything on the line to help bring the AUS females and males to 6th and 5th in the world respectively. Not to mention meeting some incredible athletes from across the world.

2024 is going to bring new challenges and new races.. some of which might surprise a few people. Watch this space 😉

First donation in a while! Being in recovery means I’m able to give blood and/plasma again.

People seem to keep feeding me dumplings and cocktails. Clearly I look like I’m in recovery 😅

24h World championships 2023

6.5 weeks ago, I found out I had a torn hip, through a lot of physio and perseverance, I started running again 2 weeks ago. With this set back, I knew this race would be more of a challenge than usual, so went in trying to not put pressure on myself, and to be the best Captain I could possibly be for the team. I feel I did that. To individually achieve 184km after what I’ve been through was both disappointing and amazing at the same time, but, leading the teams to come 5th and 6th in the world, and them individually achieving some PBs, was next level!

It was also so great to see some old Indian, Polish and Taiwanese friends and meet some new friends from across the world. Can not wait for the next champs! Bring it on.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey!

The first of the Aussie contingent has arrived in Taiwan and we’re jumping on the 24h fun bus 😂

So glad to be back!

20/11/2023

This time last year I was prepping to run against the best runners in Australia, fast forward a year and I’m prepping to run at the World Championships in Taiwan against the best runners in the world!

To say I’ve had a good lead up to this race is an understatement, it has been terrible, but.. I’ve used mental resilience and inner strength in which I’ve adapted and overcome, and now it’s game time. 11 days!

Let’s go let’s go!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and been there for me, I’ve got this, because of you.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them.

5 hours on the exercise bike is definitely harder than running the 60k I had on my program for today! Mixing it up a bit! Thank goodness for Netflix today though 😂

Getting real now! 7 weeks to go and I’ve received my new Aussie uniform! Here’s a sneak peek 🫣

What an incredible 24 hours!

The this yeah was absolutely incredible, and what a line up! Wow!

I met and surpassed my goal, smashed my PB, and an Age Category record (to be ratified), and then, to be crowned the 2023 Female Champion was the icing on the cake!

Ultra running takes an army, and I had the absolute BEST team with me! Special mention to .on.tour for being a fantastic crew chief, along with , , , and Michael. I COULD NOT have done that without you! Having the support of my family and friends was absolutely amazing. Thank you for everything!

, - I think we did our coach, the one and only proud!

Thank you to my sponsors, , and for the support you give me!

Finally, thank you to Matt for organising and supporting this race, and for hosting the race as a part of their event calendar for 2023.
