What is "It’s Okay Not to be Okay"?
In this time of COVID-19 pandemic, we are faced with uncertainty and fear for our health. We are affected by this new reality of working from home, unemployment, home-schooling, and the lack of physical contact with family, friends, and colleagues. These abrupt changes in our daily lives may take a toll on our mental health.
Hence, a group of medical students created the “It’s Okay Not to be Okay” campaign, an advocacy project that aims to provide support, advice, and proper guidance on developing healthy mental habits, fostering relationships and community, and maintaining safe environment in these trying times.
