Mayor Gaspar Chilagan, Jr. issued Executive Order No. 2022-37 regulating and controlling the use and selling of firecrackers and other pyrotechnic devices in the municipality of Aguinaldo.
To minimize the risk of injuries and casualties caused by firecrackers, the use of the foregoing shall be limited only to community fireworks display with the following conditions;
a. It is conducted on the occasion or as part of the celebration, competition or similar event held in a venue other than a place of resident;
b. It is conducted under the supervision of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Aguinaldo Station and/or Aguinaldo Municipal Police Station;
c. Only firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices allowed in RA 7183 shall be allowed under the community fireworks display; and
d. It is allowed by the Office of the Municipal Mayor through a special permit specifying the date and time of the fireworks display and the specific area in which the display will be conducted, in conformity with national standards, rules and regulations.
No other firecrackers and/or pyrotechnic devices shall be used within the Municipality of Aguinaldo if not within the scope of the community fireworks display.
Selling and/or distribution of firecrackers and other pyrotechnic devices within the municipality is strictly prohibited.
