Questions of the week!!

We are called into community. We are called to bear one another burdens. To walk with people through all seasons of life. Do you do this? Do others walk with you?
Do you stay when times get rough? Or do you walk away?
Do people reach out to help you in the valleys? Or do they just walk with you on the mountains?

If your friends are bringing you down, complaining, and not walking with you during ALL seasons of life, I think it’s time to find better friends.

Jesus talks about complaining in the Bible. We are so quick to complain when we’ve had a bad day or something in the slightest goes wrong.

Rejoice always! - find the positives. We live in a fallen world but you are called to BE the light.

Don’t let negativity and complaining bring you down and bring others down. Take those thoughts and give them to Jesus.

Be the friend that puts Jesus above all. That pours into His people. That pours into your community of friends! Support each other!

We connect in our weaknesses, the hard parts of life. We bond when we are vulnerable and open up to others.

Find a few good friends and built trust. Talk to them about everything. Pray when you say you will pray. Be there when you say you will be there. Honor your word and stick to it! And by golly love hard when you find them!!
Be that friend. Find those friends.

Your shame and guilt can be gone in Jesus! Ask the Lord to bring conviction to your heart on what you need to work on. We are all a work in progress but thankfully we have a God who loves us regardless. Who came to save us of our sins. Who came to take away all of our brokenness, shame and guilt. To free us and give us life in Him.

Choose to turn from your sin and have a fuller life in Him. Will we struggle? Yes because we live in a fallen world. However, when you have the Holy Spirit living within you, and you choose to walk with Jesus daily, your heart chooses to live a life like Jesus. You will want to turn from your old life and old self that struggled in sin. No longer will you want to partake in those old ways. You will crave the life laid before you, full of love, peace, joy, and hope, that can only be found in Jesus, our savior.

I am placing one final order on the prayer journals if anyone else wants one, or hasn’t paid for theirs and still wants one! I want to make sure they are in and to you before Christmas, so they should be in the week of 12/11.

I think we can all go through these at times. It gets hard to see the bigger picture when we are in a routine of living the day to day life. However, when we keep the ultimate eternity with Jesus in mind, wouldn’t that make us want to run after Him more and more every single day? Telling people about Him? Serving His people? Live and love like Jesus is coming back today!

Questions of the week!!

Take time this season to show gratitude. What little things are you thankful for that typically go unnoticed? Take time to rest in the busyness and soak up the memories being made. Offer help, a hand, a smile, your time. Give love and spread the love of the Lord.

I think everyone has dealt with self doubt. Often times, a voice in our head tells us we aren’t good enough. That voice is the enemy.

When you hear the voices of the enemy say you are not enough - answer back with but my God is and He says I AM.

You are enough.
When doubt creeps in - fight it with prayer.

Whatever the Lord calls you too, fear will creep in because the enemy wants to derail you from all the Lord has planned for you.
Don’t look back, Keep your eyes on the Lord.

Stress is something we all deal with at times.
The thing we often forget is that God is in control and when you are a believer, He is on your side, man cannot stand against. (Psalm 118:6)

When we fear being apart from Jesus, and understand that he conquers all things, that He is good even if, that He makes all things good, that He makes a way, that He is on your side, that He is greater than the one in this world, when we recognize that our father is also our KING AND OUR SAVIOR it’ll help alleviate some of that stress.
I know this world is scary, hard, and evil at times, but our God is bigger. Our God makes a way when their is no way. We just need to stop doubting Him and believing that He can and He will. Put your faith, every ounce into Jesus.
Pray for exactly what’s on your heart and then pray for Jesus to help you see what it is He has in store for you. To teach you. To grow you. To strengthen you. To make you more like Him. ❤️

Do you try to rush the season you are in?

Do you look at others in their season and wish you could be more like that?

Do you miss what God is teaching you in this season?

Fo you hear things like “you aren’t good enough, you don’t have time for this, your not enough, don’t even try to start that, etc.”

These are all lies.

Listen to God in the season you are in. Don’t listen to the lies that the enemy is trying to feed you. Don’t listen to the world, social media, or people in your life trying to drag you down.

You listen to Jesus. Know what HE says about you. Know His word. Know that you were created in the image of God, like no other! He has placed you in this very moment, this very season, for a reason! Are you missing out on this many blessings and joys? Are you slowing down to see the beauty in the chaos? The wholesome in the exhaustion? What is it that He is teaching you?

God is good in every season. 🩷

Do you know who you are in Jesus? Or do you let the world tell you who you are? It’s hard not to try and find comfort in the things the world can offer us. That comfort will only last so long, it’s fleeting. Gods comfort is ever lasting. He satisfies the longing of the soul.

Whatever you have been praying over and the Lord hasn’t answered yet, it might not be a no. It might just be not yet. It might be wait on my timing. It might be I have something way better coming. It’s hard to wait but trust in Him who knows best! Focus on the learning.
