The *Everything Shower* — Mom Edition 🛁✨
As a mom, self-care can feel like a luxury. But self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential.
The *everything shower* can be a beautiful ritual to recharge, even in its simplest form. It’s not just a shower, it’s a *process*—a moment to unwind, refresh, and focus on YOU.
Here’s our (relatively speaking) low-effort version of the *everything shower* for moms with less time to spare:
- Make it vibey and light a candle
- Turn on your go-to playlist
- Cleanse, shampoo, condition
- Exfoliate (our favorite way to detox)
- Wrap your hair in a cozy microfiber towel
- Put on a moisturizing face mask (we suggest this as a the final step because a warm shower opens up your skin’s pores and makes it ready to absorb the active ingredients in facial masks)
Making memories - one selfie at a time 🫶🏼

No judgment - we’ve all been there.
The MotherLOAD a.k.a. the invisible work of being a mother.
We aren’t merely talking about mundane chores like grocery shopping, doing the dishes, packing lunches, drop offs and pick ups - but in addition all that - the never-ending, behind-the-scenes mental gymnastics required to get everything done.
Like anticipating needs, planning, decision-making and let’s not forget all that time spent researching parenting stuff like baby-led weaning, potty training, nap schedules, managing tantrums etc.
It’s exhausting, limitless, and sometimes overwhelming. And somehow it usually falls on moms, not dads. Even when dads get involved in chores/childcare, some still depend on their partners to tell them what to do and when.
If you find that your mental load is taking a toll on you, we say it’s time to do something about it.
Our top two tips =
1. Have an open, vulnerable conversation with your partner about what the mental load is, how it affects you, and why you want to change the dynamic. Hand over some things, so the “to-do” list is shorter for you. Don’t micromanage - trust that your partner will get things done right.
2. Make time for *self-care*. Even though it might feel impossible with all that you have on your plate and it almost feels justified not prioritizing yourself - e.g., skipping a workout, not eating right, staying up way past bedtime to work on “pressing” tasks. When you start to do this habitually, they add up and can be harmful to your health in the long term.
Remember: we all deserve to be thriving emotionally - moms included. Don’t be afraid to do things for yourself 🫶🏼
Silverettes = a (breastfeeding) fashion statement
At the end of the day, our feet should be dirty, our hair messy and our eyes sparkling ✨ in our Soft Ribbed Nursing Tank
The answer is YES.
Most of us remember to moisturize our face and hands, but often neglect our breasts.
Like facial skin, breast skin is delicate and should be moisturized daily. Moisturizing your breasts can help maintain the skin’s elasticity and increase collagen production which may in turn reduce sagging and stretch marks from pregnancy and breastfeeding (and well, ageing in general).
Just make sure it’s a baby-safe moisturizer and to avoid the ni***es if you are breastfeeding x
We live in a world where most mothers breastfeed. Yet many of us continue to be judged over how we feed our babies. And few have the support to breastfeed for as long as we want.
This is how our children eat. This is how they find connection. This is how they find comfort.
We long for the day we no longer need campaigns to normalize breastfeeding; for the day the world truly respects women, for the day the world honors mothers as the givers of life, and provide us with the support we need to raise happy and healthy children.

Synthetic fabrics like Polyester and Nylon are commonly used to make garments (including nursing bras), simply because they’re cheap.
But they are non-biodegradable and unsustainable. Polyester and nylon are made of oil and plastics - their production and use emit greenhouse gases and release microplastics that pollute our beautiful oceans :(
Polyester and nylon are also toxic for our skin and health - in ways you can’t see but shouldn’t ignore. They can contain harmful chemicals such as BPA and PFAS, which have been linked to health problems, including hormonal imbalances, reproductive issues, and increased risk of certain cancers.
That’s why you will never find Polyester and Nylon in any of our pieces. We use only the finest natural fabrics - a blend of US Supima Cotton and Austrian Micromodal - that are not only 10x softer than synthetic fabrics but also gentle on your skin and Mother Nature 🌱
