Pat, Tony & Paul, joined us for a 2nd day in the Peaks, joining Purple Heart Wishes on a training walk in preparation for the Snowdon Sunrise in just over a month.

Weather was perfect, we took in the Great Ridge, Mam Tor and Cave Dale.✅

Wonderful day showcasing the Dark Peak to a bunch of friends who have travelled together for a Peak District break.

Travelled over Bleaklow taking in the Lancaster & B52 Wrecks, moved within the moor, to the summit at 633m.

Lots of information of the First National Park, Mass Trespass and Roman, Bronze Age history of the area was discussed, plus some of the local Folklore/Myths.✅

Hikers take on Great Ridge Walk for Willow Wood – Willow Wood Hospice A group of determined fundraisers laced up their boots to embark on a challenging walk in the Peak District and raise vital funds for Willow Wood Hospice.

Great weekend, supporting Purple Heart Wishes
With a large core of BNI Masters and friends making up the team, on Dark Peak Guide’s first challenge event of the year Y3P’s.
Conditions were fantastic, with plenty of suncream applied along the way.
Great company on route, and great support team to keep everyone energised and hydrated on the way.
17 on the challenge over the line within the 12 hrs, last man standing over the line in 11hrs, 59 mins.
