Who knew a 50th Taylor reunion could lead to a wedding!
On January 15, 2022, Taylor alumni Dave Dean ’70 and Diane (Kuhn) Mundy ’69 got married. The two connected at their 50th reunion at Taylor and then reconnected on July 4 this past year. We are so happy for these two alumni!
Congratulations Dave and Diane Dean!
Five of our Taylor alumni were part of the leadership in opening a Chick-fil-A in Valparaiso! These alumni include David ’15 (operator), Timmy ’15, John ’82, Chad ’15 and Elyse ’17.

For the 27th year in a row, Taylor University saw 3rd West Wengatz (3WW) participate in their annual melon and gourd week!
What is melon and gourd you ask? Well, it’s a week long, cross-campus game of tag, but the catch is the taggers must carry a melon or a gourd, handing it off to whoever they tag.
At the end of melon and gourd week, participants come up with creative entrances to try and escape the taggers one last time.
What’s your favorite Taylor tradition?!
Thank you to all who joined us to honor George Glass on Saturday, September 18!
Family, friends, and former athletes joined together to celebrate the Taylor University Alumni, former Athletic Director, beloved track and cross country coach, and Associate VP for Alumni Relations.
Attendees celebrated with good food, seeing old friends, and sharing memories with much laughter and tears.
