Congratulations to all 19 hikers for successfully summiting Mount Kilimanjaro to support the initiative of introducing tourism clubs across Malawi secondary school and to support already existing nature and conservation clubs.

Climbing Kilimanjaro for charity is a great way to fundraise for a worthy cause, whilst ticking off a major challenge on your bucket list. That was the very motivation for our climb, we are grateful for the encouragement we received during the climb and we hope that more people will be inspired to give out of appreciation for our modest efforts.

The team arrived at Mandara huts yesterday at 9pm which is 2720m above seal level. And today they are leaving for Horombo hut which takes about 5-7 hours trekk and hike and its 3800m above sea level.

Thank you Dr Michael Usi Hon minister of tourism, culture and wildlife for inviting us for a meeting today-before our trip to Tanzania to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro as part of events organised to raise funds for the introduction of tourism secondary school clubs across Malawi and to support already existing nature and conservation clubs which is also in line with national tourism master plan.
