KNITTING vs CROCHETING

Did you know that Nam Do-san (played by Nam Joo-hyuk) from the popular Korean Drama Start-Up does knitting as one of his hobbies during his free time?

You may have heard about knitting — but don't be fooled — it's not the same as crocheting.

While both are techniques used in making yarn-based crafts, the two are quite different. Crocheting only requires a single hook (and of course your yarn) to do it, while knitting is mainly done with 2 needles — but that's not including the various other tools you'll need, you even need a crochet hook here too! Knitting also typically takes more time, while you can expect your orders from us to be made in one sitting. Lastly, knitting is a process in which we have machines now to make our fuzzy yarn stuffs for us, while crocheting has always only been done by hand, making each and every piece unique and personalized just for you!
