Gigi's Soil and Soul

I just made 3 pie crusts from Sourdough Discard.
I never seem plan my schedule right to make bread, but I find the discard most useful. This was the discard from about 5 "feedings". I will freeze the pie crusts until I need them.
I made my active starter about 9 months ago. Her name is "Flourine". I have started dehydrating the active starter and have plans to sale it in my Etsy shop as soon as I get to that! ๐คช

Yellow flag iris that I can't get rid of but it's ok, red hot poker and foxglove. ๐งก
2024 plan: Flowers. Just flowers. No shelling beans, no canning tomatoes, no freezing corn, no frying okra. It will be a very different kind of summer. ๐ป๐ป๐ป
These iris were my grandmother's and they smell like grape coolaid!! ๐
