I can't quite wrap my head around such a prolonged, blatant lie that is so openly and blindly believed by so many people. It is like the man who confiscates most of your money all year long is telling you that Santa Claus is viciously attacking the whole world with missles right now, that there are explosions everywhere at once, every day, and the only way to protect yourself from Santa's attacks is to drink toilet water and put a plastic bag over your head. Those who warn you not to drink the toilet water or to put a bag over your head, or those who even ask what's in the toilet water, are to be immediately dismissed as dangerous "conspiracy theorists". It is also important to keep in mind that those who get sick or die from drinking the toilet water got sick or died from anything else but drinking the toilet water. The news media, which is paid by the man who takes your money and the toilet water salesman (who also happens to sell plastic bags) insists that everyone that dies now, regardless of the real cause, died from Santa Claus attacks, so the numbers seem high. Of course when you look outside, there is no Santa Claus, no missles, and still no explosions. Birds are chirping and all you see is people with bags over their heads, waving around a card that proves that they drank the toilet water, and after two years of that same story, not only do you still believe the man who takes your money and the toilet water/plastic bag salesman, you're still drinking toilet water and wearing a bag over your head, more afraid of Santa Claus than ever! Meanwhile, Santa Clause was just the same old homeless guy who comes around and litters your street corner once or twice a year.
