I'm thinking about cookie flavors for Saturday's Oshkosh Farmers Markets to go with my delicious browned butter chocolate chip.

Should we hang onto summer with Key Lime Pie cookies or jump into fall with Caramel Apple cookies?

Need the most tastiest, cutest back-to-school treat for your kids?

These goldfish snackers (like goldfish crackers but way better in sugar cookie form) will be at my stand at the Oshkosh Farmers Markets next Saturday, along with paint your own cookies!

They're perfect for lunchboxes, as they come in a sturdy, reusable snack container!

Friday field trip to Lake Aire Coffee Bar ! ☕

If you've never been, you should absolutely check it out if you enjoy coffee, chai, Boba and delicious homemade drinks! I love that they serve local Oshkosh and Fond du Lac coffees, and they host a variety of classes.

In fact, we have something in the works for later this fall ...

These raspberry crumble bars are made with homegrown raspberries and lots of love!

These were crowd favorites earlier this summer at the Oshkosh Farmers Markets, and I'll be bringing them back for the September 14 market!

If you loved these the first time, I could be sweet talked into reserving a 9 x 9 pan for you!

Did you know it's still raspberry season at Nonesuch Bakery?

That's right! I have ever-bearing raspberries, which means they produce a summer harvest and then a larger fall harvest that should run from now until frost.

I'm excited that I'm healing well enough to pick berries every few days, which is oddly one of my favorite ways to relax (despite the thorns, bees, etc.).

I just wanted to share these sweet cupcakes inspired by Bluey.

While I don't do copyright images or characters, I can create all the sweet treats to accompany any theme. For example, cupcakes like these can pull in the colors to go with a party and sugar cookies could include elements from a favorite episode, like red balloons for Keepy Uppy.

These are my first attempt at sugar cookies 13 years ago (to celebrate the birth of my official taste tester).

Don't worry, I captured exactly how I felt about making them. 🤣🤣🤣

If life has taught me anything, it's that things change over time. Initial failures (or struggles) can one day become one of your greatest strengths and joys!

As a baker who loves a great craft brew, I can't imagine a more fitting get well card! 🥖❤️🍺

They're back!

10 years ago I created this minion cake for my sons' birthday, with each minion being an edible cake pop. And now 10 years later, minions are still a big hit!

This cake took the cake, literally, as my favorite birthday cake for years!

This medical leave gave me the chance to visit some of my favorites at the Oshkosh Farmers Markets like Whimbubble Studio and OshPop Gourmet Popcorn LLC ! So good to have Whimbubble back!

For this Sunday showcase, I'm traveling back in time to my son's Harry Potter birthday cake. This is my absolute favorite cake creation I've made for him, though the minion cake remains a close second!

Every feature on this cake, from scarf to sorting hat to wand to snitch to glasses, and of course the cake itself, is entirely edible. I had so much fun creating each aspect!

I'll bet, though, the true Harry Potter fans can spot where my magical spells went wrong!

Meet the official taste tester: AJ Blondheim

AJ is my oldest son, who is a tremendous help with Nonesuch Bakery. He's learning the ropes with my famous cinnamon swirl breads, and he's proud to hold the title of official taste tester.

As a tech savvy kid, he's the first to help me troubleshoot printer, Web site or 3-D printer issues (when I'm printing cookie cutters for custom designs). He's also incredibly helpful at markets with his excellent people skills as a fantastic salesman. Trust me, if you've been at market, you've probably experienced his skill!

Aside from helping with my bakery, AJ is fascinated by all things science (and is likely destined to become an engineer). Video games and books consume his time equally with a passion for both!

Meet the baker: Kerry Blondheim

For those who don't know me, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm the owner, baker, social media creator and generally the one-woman show behind Nonesuch Bakery.

I've been baking since I was a child, learning from my mom. (She now takes a back sea to the baking and helps with packaging and markets.) My family encouraged my love of baking and suffered through some pretty rough learning experiences (like forgetting flour in banana bread, using granulated sugar in frosting because I didn't know what confectioner's sugar was or swapping salt for sugar in a very high-sodium blueberry cobbler.)

Thankfully all those years of practice, plus many more through my young adult years, led to quite the reputation as a baker. My colleagues loved the weekly cupcakes I brought in nearly ever flavor imaginable (even dill pickle to announce my pregnancy!) I baked weekly, enjoyed treats with my family and shared the rest.

When the world stopped with the pandemic, I didn't have the same opportunity to share all my goodies and found myself baking 10 loaves of sourdough for a family of 4. Whoops.

And that's when the idea of Nonesuch Bakery came into existence as a cottage kitchen bakery out of my home. Nonesuch means like no other, which perfectly describes my bakery. As a solo baker, I create a wide range of savory sourdoughs to incredible sweet treats that taste even more amazing than they look, which is saying a lot!

I made my debut at the Oshkosh Farmers Markets winter market in 2021 and love doing markets! You can find me next September 14, as I'll be taking a medical leave of absence mid-August to early September. I also offer a monthly cookie club (next pickup is August 13) and frequent sourdough options (next pickup is August 9) in addition to custom orders.

Aside from baking, you'll find me being active with husband and my 11- and 12-year-old sons. My oldest son will get a post of his own later this week, and my younger son is a genetic anomaly, one of about 100 in the world with a rare metabolic disorder that impacts every aspect of his (and our lives). When I'm not in the kitchen, you might find me running, biking, hiking, loving our national parks and sewing. (I combined my love of the outdoors and running with baking by creating these custom race cookies last fall!)

This s'mores cake is a showstopper indeed!

Imagine 3 layers of graham cracker cake with toasted homemade marshmallow cream, a chocolate cream cheese frosting and graham cracker crumbles between each layer! This cake tasted as amazing as it looks!
