Below was my 1st trip to downtown Toronto,1979
Less than 2 years later, I opened the 355 Yonge Street store

A few album covers and albums nailed to wall above the store. Some rock posters that I accumulated including an Eddie Money poster cover I put in the window...
And I was open for business. Just a couple of days after giving the landlord $400. for the first month's rent

My first fixtures were some old doors I found in the neighborhood on top of some empty milk crates.
Albums were put into empty orange boxes I gathered from some of my Kensington neighbors who sold fruit...

The late Bruce Palmer - original bass player of Buffalo Springfield with Neil Young and Steve Stills...Bruce wandered in- was living behind my store. He had seen better days. But was happy to see that I had his solo album

That's Tony Ocama on the ladder and building a mailbox.
Tony did a wonderful job. His creative carpentry outside really upgraded the front Of the store ! May 1980
