Sorry for the silence recently, things have been pretty hectic with lots of special friends having special celebrations. We drove up to Leicester a couple of weeks ago for a double celebration, our friend's 50th wedding anniversary and 75th birthday. I baked the cakes, and had to do some gifts to go with them. A chocolate and biscoff cake with matching sparkly gold bear and a classic victoria sponge with pink bunny to match. Bears and bunnies available to order at £8 each....

Sorry we've been a bit quiet, but the knitting hasn't stopped!! I've lots of celebrations with family and friends coming up, so have been knitting gifts, which I will post after they have been given..... I have had one idea, although a little late!! This pattern has just come out, I wouldn't be able to get them all done in time for the D-Day commemoration on 6th June, but thought I might knit some throughout the year to finish in time for remembrance day in November. They would be £15 each, but I would donate £5 of every order to the Royal British Legion - I'll also be doing poppies again later in the year..... I need a couple of orders at least to cover the cost of the pattern, so let me know if you are interested and I'll confirm if I am doing them.....
