This oil painting was a lesson on tone and using primary colours only ! Reminder that I don’t need so many paint colours ! Ezra and Mila you were a pleasure to paint.

We didn't realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun - Ezra and Mila - oil on canvas. I am Great Aunt to these two precious children and enjoyed the opportunity to paint them. I have learnt so much using only primary colours, the slight changes in tone that is required and the difference between Raw Umber and Burnt Umber that make a big difference to tone !!!!
