Hello drivers! We’re remodelling the trucks to support various chassis configurations (4x2, 6x2/4 midlift, 6x2 taglift, 6x4, 8x4, 6x4 tandem and 6x2/4 tandem taglift).

The number of chassis options will depend on the vehicle. The configuration cannot be changed after purchasing a vehicle so choosing a chassis is a final decision. Each configuration will feel different to drive (stability at high speeds, maneuverability at low speeds, fuel capacity will all differ based on the chosen chassis).

Hello drivers! A new truck will be added to the fleet of American Trucks in the first release. Thanks to Veetee Trekker and his Discord community for voting on the model!

Hello drivers! Here are some images and information about the beta map of Truck Simulator Eastern Roads.

Map in the first release:
• Location: south-east of Romania
• Map size: 1 hour of driving time
• Longest available job: 30 minutes

Plans for future map expansion:
• Expand map by 1 hour of driving time every 6 months. Add more off-road routes.
• Move into other parts of Romania and into neighboring countries (Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Moldova)
• Final map size estimated to provide around 4 hours of driving time

For optimization purposes, we had to implement loading screens between map regions. We tested other options but loading screens yielded the best results. Vehicle speed and other settings will be maintained throughout the transition.

Hello drivers! We received so many requests for American Trucks so of course, we had to include one in the first release.

Truck Simulator Eastern Roads - WIP - testing weather system and wet roads. Precipitation effects are not implemented yet. Wet roads effect available only on the two highest graphical settings due to rendering costs.

Hello drivers! Thank you so much for helping us reach 2k subscribers in just under two weeks! Also, big thanks to everyone who submitted their feedback. We are glad to confirm that most requests regarding control options have been implemented. Many expressed concerns regarding the slider pedals so below are listed all the control options available in the beta release along with answers to some common questions.

Vehicle control options:
• steering input: accelerometer, arrow buttons and steering wheel, with adjustable sensitivity and return-to-centre speed
• gas/brake input: touch pedals and sliders pedals with adjustable direction of travel (up-down or down-up)
• option to invert position of UI elements (steering wheel on the right and pedals on the left)

Vehicle transmission options:
• simple automatic with touch pedals (fixed gear-up and gear-down point)
• dynamic automatic with slider pedals (dynamic shift point based on throttle input)
• manual sequential

Game, release, platforms and minimum requirements:
• Release is expected to be around June 2021 for Android
• iOS version will be investigated in the following months, but for the moment, the only confirmed release is for Android
• The game will be free and everything can be unlocked with the in-game currency. No internet connection is required to play.
• Devices running OpenGL ES 2.0 or lower will not be supported. Minimum version required is OpenGL 3.0. APK size or other minimum requirements cannot be confirmed at this time. More information will come in the following months.

Requested features which are being considered, but will most probably not be in the first release:
• pedestrian system
• function to open vehicle windows
• height adjustable suspension

Requested features which unfortunately, will not be implemented:
• animated driver hands
• manual h-shifting transmission with clutch
• mod support
• multiplayer
