o Mix-up in username and password by applicants would attract extra charges
o Error in completion and submission of forms during the process of application would lead to loss of application processing for the academic session (e.g. selecting M.Tech. instead of PGD or Ph.D.)
o Candidate cannot transfer unsuccessful application from one programme to another
o Statement of result of four years and above cannot be used for admission (candidate should obtain certificate from the relevant examination body)
o Applicants are no longer required to present ‘O’ Level results for postgraduate admissions
o All Applicants are reminded that Fees for Application forms and Acceptance are non-refundable

PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) invites all eligible candidates for a Computer-Based Pre-Admission Screening Exercise scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 15th to Thursday, 17th November, 2022 at the University campus.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their Institution of choice and scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was conducted by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB). Direct Entry candidates are also eligible and required to sit for the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are required to:
I) check the University
website(www.futa.edu.ng) for mode of payment for application;
ii) download, complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application Form online; and
III)print out a copy

REQUIREMENT FOR SCREENING
All candidates are to come along with the items listed below to the screening venue:
I)JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration Slips for Direct Entry candidates.
ii)Printed copy of the completed FUTA Post-UTME Online Registration Form.
iii) Evidence of payment via REMITA.

PERIOD OF APPLICATION/REGISTRATION
The Application/Registration Form will be available online between Friday, 21st October, 2022 and Friday, 11th November, 2022.

FUTA REOPENS ... SENATE TO MEET ON NEW ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Following the suspension of the strike action of Unions in the universities, the Federal University of Technology Akure, (FUTA) has scheduled a meeting of Senate to hold on Wednesday 19th October 2022 . The date for formal resumption of students and the new Academic Calendar for the completion of the 2020/2021 will be released after the meeting.

Inarguably, it was a rosy-bumpy journey, and every next level came with the temptation of whether to stay or continue.

According to the statistics I have with me, almost half of the initial population is gone. So, if you belong to the half that did pass the consistency tests, you deserve the warmest accolades, and you should be proud of your win.

Now, the training is officially over, but for you all, it should be the master key to your next stage in programming.

Analyze the knowledge you have gained, and run them on problems. Revise your methods. Get better. Grow. That's the long-term goal of the training.

Your certificate of participation will be available in a couple of days. Always be ready to defend its worth.
