Hi everyone! We are in the last full month of the semester! This week on Wednesday April 13th at noon in 385J in AS/VM we will be meeting to talk with the UMN's swine faculty about opportunities in the swine industry. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP.

Hello everyone! This week we have a couple of fun things planned:
Thursday (2/24) at Station 280 starting at 6pm will be our monthly social.
Friday (2/25) in AnSci/VetMed 125 or on zoom at noon Dr. Vlietstra will be leading an informal discussion about bovine practice. Lunch will be provided for those who submit the interest form by Tuesday.

This Monday (November 1st) during the lunch break there will be a zoom on Women in Poultry medicine with Dr. Andrea Zedek.
Then on Tuesday (November 2nd) Dr. Corzo will give another Spanish lecture during the lunch break via zoom.

Hi everyone! This week is much lighter for club activities.
Today we were invited to sit in and give feedback with the first Ruminant Faculty Interview from 12:15-12:45 via zoom or in person in the VPM office.
Tomorrow, the 26th, Dr. Corzo will be giving the first Spanish lunch lecture. It will be via zoom from 12-1.

"I grew up on a black angus cattle ranch so I have the most experience with cattle, but I am thinking I may practice mixed animal because I also love cats and dogs!"

What production animal(s) are you most interested in or have the most experience with?
"After being raised on a cow/calf operation, I have the most experience with beef cattle. I also gained a significant amount of experience with sheep after purchasing a flock of my own around the age of 16 years old. My dairy cattle experience came during my undergraduate degree where I completed internships and pursued experiences related to dairy medicine. I am most interested in ruminant medicine!"

We will also be raffling off some club items to new club member!
