Pre and post natal Yoga and Physical Activity
Being pregnant is a very special moment and body experience in women’s life.
Adapted Physical Activity will help you to understand the body’s modifications during pregnancy and which adaptations every women should respect to prevent and avoid pain or discomfort during and after pregnancy
Pre and post natal exercice consist of adapted postural work, breathing, stretching and relaxation through a range of specially devised yoga poses.

La maternité est une expérience corporelle unique et un moment très spécial dans la vie d'une femme.
Pratiquer une activité physique adaptée telle que le yoga peut aider à comprendre les modifications corporelles qui s'opèrent pendant la grossesse. Mais aussi les adaptations nécessaires pour prévenir et éviter les inconforts pré et post partum.
Les exercices spécialement choisis font appel au travail postural, aux étirements, à la respiration et la relaxation.

Post-natal classes are designed to re-built up your global tonicity starting with your pelvic floor and core muscles. Using exercices from Yoga De Gasquet (French midwife and yoga teacher) and Pilates.

Physical Activity and Post Pregnancy
After delivery we feel looseness and weakness in our body. The pelvic floor and core muscles worked hard during pregnancy and delivery. Your whole body went throught modifications.
Post natal session are designed to re-built up your global tonicity and your posture. We will focus on:
Tighten up your pelvic floor and core muscles, stabilize your hips and your spine with adapted muscular exercice.
Get the right posture on your daily movement (breastfeeding, carrying your baby or child, sleeping, working at the desk...) to prevent back pain.
Doesn't matter if you just gave birth or if your baby is now a child, it is never to late to take care of your pelvic floor ;)

and we can also make a group class (max 5) on request

Introduction
My name is Valéryane THOORIS, I am Adapted Physical Activity Instructor. I obtained a master’s degree from the French University of Sports and Science in 2012 (Montpellier). Before living in Cambodia, I owned a business for 3 years in Montpellier (France). I provided home physical rehabilitation especially for ageing people, people suffering from chronic diseases and obesity. I collaborated with geriatricians, diabetic, kidney and heart specialists, nutritionists and physiotherapists.
Since 2 years I provide adapted physical activity in individual classes in Phnom Penh for people with special needs. My approach is global and individual, my aim is to help you with your body understanding; how the body is working, how is important to be active and how to move especially if you have health issues.
Our bodies were conceived to move. Whatever your current health status is, your body needs to move in all safety but also with bliss.
