We are partnering with other agriculture related clubs to gather donations for farmers and ranchers affected by the wildfires in the Texas Panhandle! We will be collecting donations through April 22nd and sending them out to those in need soon after.
Supplies Needed:
-Fencing Supplies
-Salt Tubs
-Protein Tubs
Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated!

We’ll be hosting a blood drive tomorrow in front of the student union from 10 am to 2 pm! We hope to see everyone there!!

Our officers had a great time at NCBA this week in Orlando! We enjoyed making new connections, learning about rising technology and new production practices within the industry.

We were able to serve the Mississippi Loggers Association dinner on Friday night. Our members did an awesome job getting everything prepared and served!

We had a great turnout for our August meeting! We want to thank Mr. Cobie Rutherford for speaking with us last night about the most pressing issues facing the cattle industry today.
We look forward to seeing everyone at our next meeting on Tuesday, September 19th!

We had an awesome time kicking off the semester at Beefin’ Up the Bulldogs! We were glad to work alongside The Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association and The Mississippi Beef Council. We are thankful to have help from our members, they represented our association well with their hard work yesterday!

We hope to see everyone this Thursday at our interest meeting! We will have plenty of food and can’t wait to tell you all about what we have in store for the upcoming semester!

“Hey everyone! My name is Anna Sharkey, and I am currently a junior majoring in Animal and Dairy Science, minoring in Poultry Science, and Ag Business with a concentration of Veterinary medicine! I am from a small town called Amite, Louisiana where my family has upheld a dairy farm since 1977. Growing up in this environment grew a love within me for cattle and the industry overall.
Since being at State, I have been involved in serval different organizations, but none stood out to me the way Cattlemens did! I have definitely found my place and my people here within this organization and am extremely excited to get this year started and see what opportunities are in store for us!”
