MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

Everyone I know has been faced with the some sort of challenge, whether it be pain caused by betrayal, ill-health, and/or other woes.

The question is what do we do during those times that seem to pin us down and contribute to an unfulfilled existence?

How do we catch our breath, stand up, and move forward?

Here is an excerpt from my contributed story, "Sounds of Resilience"

"SOUNDs of RESILIENCE
Screaming lost to blaring discordant notes;
rushing sound of water tuning out the horror.
Disembodied, my body floats above
pain no longer felt.
My hand in His, He is my restorer.
Unseen by the abuser, He knelt.

My story begins from my childhood and how unknowingly, a common thread wove through each traumatic event; stitching my life together like a comforting patch-work quilt. I found that thread to be the Ingredients of Resilience."
