Liwonde Hippo scenes. Looking back at a visit to the stunning Liwonde National Park in Malawi back in 2022. Although the sky was darkened by the heavy clouds, the sun was making its way down and the hippos took advantage of this umbrella and left the Shire river early and we were able to watch them graze the fresh grass. Ah some of the sound recordings just takes you back, it's like music.

Like all sunbirds, they are there to beautify your garden. These little birds come to feed on the nectars made by a variety of flowers in gardens. This is the Collared Sunbird. They have a shorter bill than the other sunbirds in its region.
