Hi everyone,
Firstly I'm really sorry about having to send this out, your refunds have already been sent via paypal so please check you've recieved them.

Basically we met the 141 orders initially required to press the record with the gatefold and it was only when I was preparing the files that I realised that 'Live in London '19' is just shy of 90mins.

Splitting this in a sensible way between 4 sides resulted in the side lengths being:
21mins 18seconds,
18mins 36 seconds,
25minutes 18 seconds
and 24minutes 36seconds.

If any of you are familiar with how vinyls are pressed you'll know that side lengths of 18 minutes are ideal and with any increase you start to sacrifice volume and definintion of high and low frequencies.

I hoped that because it was a live album it wouldnt make much of a difference, but after some lengthy conversations with the pressing plant it was evident that going ahead as a double album wasnt an option.

Heres the quote: "it is probably ‘doable’ but it won’t be the kind of audiophile product most vinyl fans want... the quality of the masters isn’t great either".

So my choices were either to go ahead and risk ending up with a product noone is happy with and the risk of having to refund most of the order and kill the label after 1 release, or throw in the towel.

I looked at pressing on 3 Discs as I have seen a few labels do, but its an extra £1000 which isn't going to be possible given the number of presales.

So yeah, I'm gutted, put a lot of work into making this happen and there doesnt seem to be any way to make it work.
I know you're all going to be disappointed and I'm really sorry, feel like I've let down alot of people, but best to do that now rather than later.

Be weary of labels pressing on 2 discs, this isnt a factory specific issue, noone is going to be able to press 90minutes to 2 discs without some major audio sacrifices.

Everyone that sent in photos for the gatefold, thankyou, you were amazing and i'll make sure those files are deleted properly so your data is safe.

This is GOING AHEAD but need 20 more orders to get gatefold!
Pressing plant reckon they can get very close to my mock up but it will look slightly 'less hectic'!

Should be shipped sometime in April.

Update: we’re a handful of sales away to get this pressed!

I’m now pushing for sales to try and get a gatefold!

Updates with artwork soon and I’ll be asking for your photos in the next 10 days so check your emails you used on bandcamp!

We've hit 96 orders for 101 copies!!

Need 19 more to guarantee production (pretty certain this will happen!)
