Boaters Pubs and Grub

What an exciting start to 2023. Today, we completed the purchase of a famous old real ale pub - The Swan on Pelsall Road, between Pelsall and Brownhills. Several times voted Walsall CAMRA pub of the year, The Swan has been a beautiful pub that we have admired for a while. It’s fair to say that it’s not looking that special now, as the building crew set about it on their first day back after the Christmas break. However we are confident that at the end of a two month refurbishment this lovely old pub will be looking great and ready to welcome back thirsty customers.

I was going to add this Brewery Taproom into the guide as it is/was within walking distance of the cut at Burslem Stoke on Trent

However the last Taproom day is 17 December
