Our Kiwanis club serves East San Diego County and communities worldwide through hands-on service and monetary donations.

Kiwanis of El Cajon Valley meets at 12 noon on the 1st Tuesday and 6pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Join us at Denny's restaurant, corner of Fletcher Parkway and Navajo Road. Get ready for a fun, enjoyable musical evening at our Off Broadway Live! fundraiser, October 20, 3:00 p.m. Be sure to call and reserve your tickets early to get the seating you prefer. Gifts for our Crisis House Christmas family are wrapped and delivered. Members of our Kiwanis Club donate regularly to Crisis House, an East County organization that works with those in need. Our favorite is adopting families for Christmas. If you would enjoy giving back and helping your East County community, come join us!

The governing boards of two East County high school and college districts are making a promise to high school seniors: commit to your college success, and you will receive a free year of tuition at Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges.
Myra Lomahan, Interim Director of Community and Workforce Development, will speaking about this program at the East San Diego County Kiwanis Club meeting, tonight.
Ms. Lornahan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in Community Health Education. She has been with Grossmont Cuyamaca Community College District for 2.5 years and previously worked at a private college for over 7 years.
You are all invited! Joanna Sarao, who is program manager for the Family Resource Center working with San Diego Youth Services at El Cajon Valley High School, will be speaking at the East San Diego County Kiwanis Club, Tuesday, August 21st at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at Denny's Restaurant, 665 N. Mollison Avenue, El Cajon. There is a great need for personal and school items at the school and Joanna Sarao will talk about the Family Resource Center and student needs. If you are interested in or have ever felt the need to help the youth of El Cajon, this will be a good speaker and meeting for you. We welcome new members to our very active club.
