Christy 4 School Board

It is a real honor and privilege to be elected to represent the Walled Lake community as a Trustee on the Board of Education. I look forward to working with our new superintendent John Bernia, his cabinet, and the other Trustees on the board. I am excited to serve you…the citizens of my community come January.

I never could’ve made it to this point without the help of all those who supported my campaign either with your time or your hard earned resources. Thank you isn’t even enough.

Thanks to my family and friends who have all believed in me, encouraged me, and prayed for me!

Thanks to Shayna & Julie! You have been an inspiration to me, and I am excited to continue our friendship and working relationship!

To all those who voted for me…thank you! Thank you for believing in me! I promise to work hard for you, for our children, for our teachers, and for our community!

Most importantly I thank my God who sustained me throughout this race! Duty was mine, & results were His!

Tomorrow is the big day! It is the day we have waited and worked so hard for! Polls will open in just under 10 hours. If you have not yet cast your vote please consider voting for me for Walled Lake School Board. It would be an honor to serve the people in my community by being elected to the school board. As a trustee I am committed to closing learning gaps, protecting children, protecting parental rights, and promoting transparency. There are 3 open seats on the school board. In addition to voting for me I would ask you to also consider voting for Shayna Levin & Julie Fernandez. The three of us bring a lot of diversity to the table while still sharing a common vision for the district. It has truly been a privilege to run alongside these two remarkable women!

2 days left until the big day! It’s hard to believe the race is almost over! I want to thank everyone who has donated to my campaign. Your generosity helped make it possible for me to spread the word to so many people. I couldn’t have done this without all of you!

Do you want to have a voice in your child’s education? If so vote for me on November 8th. It’s time to put new trustees on the board who will listen. It’s time to put trustees on the board who will answer emails and respond to parent concerns. I commit to being a trustee who will do just that if I am elected.

This is the last meeting before the election. I hope to see many of you there tonight!

I am officially on the home stretch! Election day is 10 days from today. There are still a few things I'd like to do in order to get myself to the finish line, and some additional funds are still needed. If you are able to contribute in any way I would greatly appreciate it! Many of you have already done so, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous donation!!!

With a 38% literacy gap in Walled Lake, it's time to make education the primary focus. Let's devote a little more time, attention, and resources to closing this gap that so many children find themselves in.

If I am elected to the board I will work hard to address closing this gap.
