What does half way through the week feel like for you? Does it generate relief, anxious thoughts or is it neutral?

Socially we have built this system that Wednesday is half way through, almost in a negative light…only a few more days until the weekend!

Who wants to live each day like it’s already a weekend? Find moments in each day that you can hold onto. Good things do happen, so focus on the present moment to slow the desire for another day to come.

We all have days that are long and exhausting but with each of those something somewhere went right. Find that.

What if I were to tell you that it's not always what you eat, but how your eating affects your body weight, image, and health state?

Often times we are in a rushed state eating and the food that we choose to put into our bodies isn't always the MOST beneficial;-/
However, if you slow down while eating that not-so-healthy choice and focus on one bite at a time, you could actually end up losing weight rather than gaining!

Ladies, Self Care is mandatory for a healthy life. While you're running all the errands, working, organizing play dates, and having sleepless nights because your toddler refuses to sleep in his own bed...it becomes an essential practice.

Make this a must by adding it to your calendar and treating it as a sacred appointment you wouldn't cancel. Prioritizing self-care means you are able to give more of your true authentic self to others & the world.

I am ABSOLUTELY forever changed because I took the steps to grow & go for what I wanted more than anything before. I completed school in January 2022. Since then it's been a beautiful ride and I am just getting started.
I always wanted to be a coach I just wasn't sure when I would do it and where to go. Becoming a certified coach was a non-negotiable. I found Health Coach Institute & resonated with a lot of what they teach. It was a perfect fit for me.

How do we get back on track after big life events? When the world seems to keep spinning and taking a break for ourselves is so not the best use of our time!

It's the last thing we do. TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES.

We do the laundry and the dishes, we make everyone else the food they like and want, we run the errands, and continue to serve our clients or employers.
What about us? What about just taking a moment to exercise or pamper yourself since you have been neglecting it for so long you know it needs to be done.

The funny thing is after you take the time for yourself you end up feeling more complete and on top of it than before. Hold ONTO the feeling. Let it be a reminder to consistently do things that connect you to yourself.

Stop waiting for the RIGHT moment or day-put it is on the calendar - ask for a babysitter or take a personal day to recharge. Take the time. You won't regret it. I am rooting for you friend.

Follow these tips to help you lose that postpartum weight. Our bodies often need to slow down to digest better to help us lose weight.
If we’re consuming food too quickly it will not give anytime for proper assimilation.

If I had to pick just one of these to do to start the change in creating a healthier life I would pick drinking more water. It's the simplest thing you can do this moment to kick-start your fat burning & elevate your mood!

Most of us have done one of these traits at least a few times.

See it as an opportunity to grow instead of staying the same. If we can reflect on our actions & behaviors, we are much closer to feeling better about our lives.

We need to be aware of toxic behaviors that hurt ourselves and other people if we want to become the best version of ourselves.

For a challenge pick one trait from the list that you know you do or have done. Anytime that behavior comes up ask yourself why am I doing this. Don't be afraid to dig down and ask why a couple of times. Often these answers lie deeper.
Write down your answer and journal about it to help you find more clarity about yourself & behaviors.

Here are my personal reasons for each toxic behavior below!

~ Attention seeking - because society has taught me I should be something other than what I truly am - fear of not being loved

~ Being overly competitive - Wanting approval from others & not myself - fear of not being loved

~ Playing the victim - Wanting attention from others - fear of not being loved

~ Seeking the validation of others - fear of not being loved

~ Passing judgment on others - I am afraid that people will see me as insignificant = fear of not being loved

~ Holding a grudge - having power over someone - wanting to feel bigger - fear of not being loved

~ Comparing myself to others - because I seek validation externally vs internally loving myself first

So all my answers came down to the same thing, the fear of not being loved! For me & my background, this makes absolute sense. With these answers, I get to dive deeper into the reason for my root fear and cultivate love from within.

Is it time for a new season? Not only is the weather changing but so are we as human beings. Hopefully always evolving into our highest self.
With that comes change not just in us but around us as well. It can be scary sometimes to continue on a growth journey and not know who will stand by you.
We often times can feel alone & so we revert to old ways of being. Stand tall my friend and continue the momentum of growth. This will enhance the relationships you already have or you will find new ones that represent where you are today. 🤍

Stay Healthy - Find movement you enjoy & continue eating to your specific nutritional needs!

Support Your Immune System - Take that Vitamin D! With colder weather it brings us into more darkness, taking vitamin D is essential for your immunity just like vitamin C.

Regain Your Sense of Control - This doesn't mean being a controlling person, this means building momentum in your life by taking accountability for the actions that you take day by day.

Maintain Social Connectedness - I suggest IRL. Reach out to someone and meet up to share quality time. Community is one of the best ways to thrive in this life.

Set Up Your Daily Routine - Remember that even if it doesn't go exactly the way you expect, having a plan of how you want your day to go can really help you stay on track for your life goals.

One of the ways I encompass wellness in the morning is by reading or journaling quietly with my cup of coffee or tea. Then I love to get outside & breathe fresh air in and out 🌬. This helps me set the tone for what I want my day to be like. It helps me become more centered and I love coming from that space.

At any given time you have complete control to choose what you want your life to be. It's not about waiting for it to show up; you don't just magically become something different. It's actively creating each choice to get the results you want. Obstacles will come up, that is a 100% guarantee...but if you can train yourself to see the bigger vision & rise through the challenges then you will absolutely get the life you want! 🌻

How Does Someone Start to Become Fit & Healthy? It starts with your thoughts and the decision to do it! When we can discover your deep down purpose of your health goal we have a lot of leverage to work with. It has go deeper than the surface though. Many of us have long term habits that we have created for ourselves. When we are asked to stop or slow down a habit to reach a goal, we are put in a place where letting go of old ways becomes a requirement to becoming healthy. That's why discovering your WHY is so important in a process of transformation.
