The incoming SK officials, headed by Hon. Keann Chadd Alivio, in partnership with other SK officials in Consolacion and NGOs (EdVocaSea and CCSC), implements the program Oplan Baklas to Cash to promote environmental protection and conservation, as the GSP Tarps (tarp na gigamit sa election) takes hundreds of years to decompose, so with the goal of protecting the environment and transforming it into an income, this program hits the economic empowerment and environment centerpieces of youth participation.

THAT'S A WRAP!
Yesterday was another successful project for the EdvocaSea and its partnered organizations! The Christmas party for the children residents of Looc was carried out successfully! There is no greater joy than to end the year giving back to the people โ bringing them smiles and laughter despite of the trials that they have gone through.
We would also like to express our utmost gratitude to the other organizations that have made this event successful especially to CINE U, Kaabag , Barangay Looc LGU, and volunteers.
This project also marks as the last one of our projects this year, and we always look forward to upcoming opportunities and projects in the times to come. Thank you so much everyone!
Gikan sa kabataan, Para sa katawhan!
The EdvocaSea together with the partnered organizations and volunteers, have triumphantly accomplished the Local Clean Up drive yesterday, December 28, 2022 at Barangay Looc. A total of 44 sacks of trash were collected, aiming to clear out coastal trashes and debris from the recent fire tragedy.
We offer our deepest thanks to Kaabag, Barangay Looc LGU, CINE U and volunteers that helped this drive to be made possible. Together we have proven once again that we can make a big difference in our small little acts if unified.
Gikan sa kabataan, Para sa katawhan
ATTENTION โโโ
Volunteers, here is the program guide for the upcoming Coastal Cleanup Drive tomorrow, December 28, 2022. The meeting point would be at the Looc Barangay Hall. Please follow the schedule and remarks for the program, and keep a heads up for the orientation tomorrow.
Don't forget to bring your own sacks and gloves. Thank you so much and see you tomorrow!
The Barangay Looc in Mandaue City was recently struck by large fire that destroyed many homes and structures. Trashes and debris still remain in the surrounding that poses a hazard in the safety and health of everyone. In which why, The EdvocaSea, together with partnered organizations has also initiated a local clean up drive in the vicinity of Barangay Looc aiming to clear out what pollution remains from the disaster. This clean up drive shall also be done altogether with the other EdvocaSea programs in Looc on. December 28, 2022

Through tribulations and turmoil have we learned resiliency upon the wrath of nature and its dire calamities. That said, we always lend each other help and aid to overcome whatever obstacle comes in our path. Recently, a fire broke in Barangay Looc, Mandaue on November 23, 2022 which ravaged 2,300 of 700 households โ leaving the victims with none but their selves and families,
In light of this, the EdvocaSea and its Partnered organizations has initiated yet another project that aims to organize a local coastal clean-up that aims to clean the surrounding body of water to lessen the pollution and a Christmas Party for the residents so that it may at least ease to what horror they have just experienced and still experience the spirit of the holidays. With what little we may offer, it shall become more than enough if added with our partnered organizations and group services along with willing volunteers. This project will be tentatively and hopefully be launched on December 24, 2022.
For our sympathy discriminates none and our aid does not have a threshold, we will do what we must. If you wish to volunteer or partner with us, you may message us to our page to contact 09105453227.

Christmas holiday is supposed to be felt uplifting and joyful to all but perhaps not to the residents of Looc, Mandaue. As they were recently ravaged by a fire that destroyed many household and livelihoods that left the people with nothing but themselves. In which, we, the Educational Advocacy towards our Seas together with its Partnered organizations, have initiated a Christmas party for the residents of Looc. In this way we may at least ease their pain from their loss and still bridge to them the spirit of giving and Christmas. To uplift their hopes for the tomorrow full of rebuilding of what was lost to them, encouraging their resiliency and aid their hearts to what little we can do.
For our sympathy discriminates none and our aid does not have a threshold, we will do what we must. Christmas is a time of giving and letting know those that we care, that we are always here.

The candidates are recognized for their valiant efforts in displaying their costumes using recyclable materials, which bolsters their advocacy in promoting environmental stewardship.

This historical undertaking in pursuit of a cleaner and safe environment enables our youth and volunteers to be engaged in environmental stewardship. However, this is only the beginning of battling the effects of climate change. In our own ways, we can help our nature recover by picking trash found in our surroundings and putting it in the right place, as well as segregating. Together, we can work towards a trash-free Philippines!
LOOK: The Montage Highlights of the successful Eco Run 2022 is here to show just how eminent the event was! With unity and cooperation were we all able to pull of this exuberating event together with the help of the runners, organizers, sponsors, and volunteers.
This video alone shows how much we are able to pull off such triumphant and magnificent event by us, the youth, the future. Ultimately, the Eco Run 2022 is only but our stepping stone for there will be upcoming Environmental Projects, so stay tuned! And as always,
"Gikan sa Kabataan, Para sa Kabataan"
A pleasant day to each and Every one. On July 31, 2022 the Eco Run 2022 by the EdVocaSea successfully took place at Lapu-Lapu City and also became the biggest achievement of the Cebu Coalition of Student Councils so far. A big thank you, is all that we could say to all of you. However, we are aware that merely expressing gratitude is insufficient, as there is no way to quantify the joy we have from the runners for attending and taking part in the Eco Run 2022.
Each of the distance you have ran in kilometers are all with cause and be put to aid upon the sea environment and the local fisher folks. All of this is only the start of many initiatives that we will work on to help the residents of Olango Island with their daily needs and ultimate recovery from the Typhoon Odette on last December, 2021.
We also want to express our sincerest gratitude to our esteemed Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard โAhongโ Chan for also making the event more victorious and successful by makings us be able to officially introduce our event. A myriad deepest gratitude also to the sponsors, event marshals, traffic and medical teams, city organizers, volunteers for this event wouldnโt have been smooth without their aid and assistance. And above all, we give thanks to our Lord God Almighty, who helped us initiate and carry out the Eco Run 2022 that the Cebu Coalition of Student Councils launched through the EdvocaSea.
It will and shall be always, โGikan sa Kabataan, Para sa Kabataanโ.
Daghang Salamat kanunay sa tanan. Keep safe and God Bless!

SAVEiors in Action | EdvocaSea's Eco Fun Run
What a successful event spearheaded by EdvocaSea together with Cebu Coalition of Student Councils (CCSC) that held a charity Eco Fun Run in Lapu-Lapu City with the theme "Takbo Para Sa Kalikasan"
Some SAVEiors from Cebu Institute of Technology - University gave services, efforts, and take part of the said event and it was a big success!
Seeing our fellow SAVEiors valuing the awareness of keeping our environment safe, we must make them as an inspiration in making even the smallest of changes. This Eco Fun Run event is indeed a success and will provide a great impact for more days to come.
