Since there is no response from the State Government after the 1st Phase Protest (Peaceful Sit in demonstration) which was held on 14th September, 2021 and 2nd Phase Protest (2 days Mass Casual Leave) held on 11th and 12th October, 2021, the GEC Meeting of MSSASA Central Body will sit on 22nd October, 2021 (Friday) to discuss for the 3rd Phase Protest and further course of action to pressurized the State Government to
fulfill the 3 (three) demands for the welfare of the SSA teachers which includes:-

1. Creation of Posts and Shifting of 12541 Existing SSA Teachers from State Implementation Society to State Education Department on Regular basis as per provision of RTE/SSA Norms.

2. Implementation of Pay Structure and to Enhance the Salary of 12541 SSA teachers working under Samagra Shiksha.

3. Non - Payment of salary for the month of June, July, August and September 2021.

"Sit in demonstration" A symbol of protest against the State Government for failing to take appropriate actions to the request made by the Association on the following issues:-
1. To implement salary structure and to enhance the salary of 12541 SSA teachers working under Samagra Shiksha in our state of Meghalaya.

2. Creation of posts and Shifting of all existing SSA teachers from State Implementation Society to State Education Deptt on regular basis as per provisions of RTE Act, 2009 and SSA-RTE norms.

3. Non - payment of salary for the month of June, July and August, 2021.
