Renzoku Waza ( KOTE DO ) The reason for practicing renzoku waza is to be able to hit continuously and fluidly when circumstances warrant. Where renzoku waza counts is when you attack kote(hand) and miss and you opponent’s kamae(ready position) is unsettled as he moves back, your opponent is momentarily out of position – perfect opportunity and likely to result in a successful attack. Practice by Senpai Aung Zaw and Maeda Sensei. 📍At the Japan Foundation Yangon, we have a kendo class every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please contact us for more information if you are interested.
