At Stay in the Bay, we’re proud to maintain an average rating of 4.89 out of 5 over the past 5 years, thanks to the hard work of our incredible cleaning team, the meticulous landscaping crew, and the reliable contractors who promptly address any issues. While our small spaces are designed to provide short-term accommodations for travelers, they don’t significantly impact the broader housing market. In fact, we’ve contributed over $25,000 in sponsorships to local nonprofits and youth sports programs, reflecting our commitment to supporting the community.

However, we want to inform you about upcoming changes in September. The government is increasing the registration fee from $50 to $500 per location and adding other fees. We hope these new changes won’t affect our community-minded approach. Thank you all for your continued support and shares over the years!

I can’t say enough about this place. It is an amazing space with a very responsive host. It is simply beautiful, and spotlessly clean. Fantastic amenities. It was a particular pleasure to sit out on the back deck anf have a coffee with a view of Renwick Brook. Being from Glace Bay I was concerned about the road noise on Brookside St but that was not a problem. The place was amazingly quiet at night. This is now one of my go to spots when I am visiting or on business and I have already recommended it to friends and family visiting the Bay. Simply awesome, Jeff!

After nearly a year of dedicated effort, our third Airbnb is almost finished! We're in the final stages now, adding our stylish new backsplash from GET TILE and installing sleek floating shelves from John G MacIntosh. The next step? Enhancing the bathroom with shiplap for that flawless finish. Meanwhile, furniture is en route from Schwartz, and we'll be fine-tuning pricing through live testing in the coming weeks to prepare for Summer bookings, opening up availability in the first two weeks of April. Stay in the Bay is expanding for our third location in Glace Bay. We made adjustments based on our customers feedback and have included a washer and dryer unit. We hope these plans are the future of short term rental units in and around Dominion/Glace Bay. We should be ready by the Spring!!

Starting next week they will be selling tickets on an Autographed Ed Sheeran Guitar.

The Acoustic Guitar measures approximately 38" in length. Hand-signed on a CD cover that has been repurposed as a pick-guard by Ed Sheeran.

This guitar is a display guitar. It is a lower-tier version and is not the same quality as one that a musician would play.

The lot / autograph(s) includes an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.
