Returning to my autobiography, here's a little preview of what's to come 😉😊: For 11 years I grew up on a farm situated in the countryside on a sprawling 50-acre plot of land. I was raised on a cool, exotic animal farm where my love of animals started. I lived in a nicely sized 4 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, red brick bungalow that was skillfully built by my father. The outdoor space was enormous, offering ample land for running around. It featured a spacious front yard covered in lush grass, lawns on either side of the house, and a vast backyard with two large barns—one for animals and the other for machinery and tools. Surrounding the house were beautifully maintained shrubs, flowers, and gardens tended to by my mother.

As I think about the title of my autobiography, I cannot help but feel myself choke up inside, holding back tears at 2:20 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, Aug 7, 2019. My husband, Daniel, whom I have been with for 23 years, lies somewhat asleep beside me. I have been married to him for 17 years and we have 4 wonderful, smart and loving children together. The ages of our children, who are currently 6, 9, 15, and 18 years old, contribute to people's surprise when they learn that my husband and I are older than they initially think. It's a wonderful feeling and I genuinely enjoy shocking people even before revealing my age. If you, dear readers, like shocking surprises, then I invite you to read on, as I have an intriguing and astonishing story about my life to share.

My biological parents gave me up as a baby, so I became an orphan. Then, as a young teenager, my adoptive parents sent me off to Toronto on a train, leaving me parentless again.

I invite you to take an emotional journey through my life to see the things I overcame and to understand why I truly long to belong. We all crave a sense of belonging in one way or another. This is a difficult, heartbreaking, and emotionally untold life story where I open up and make myself vulnerable. Join me on my journey to find what I've been searching for all my life – a place where I truly belong.

Perhaps it's best that I start at the beginning of my life and I hope, my dear readers, that it is quite interesting and surprising, leaving you with a sense of wonder and intrigue at the end of my book.

We all have a story to tell and this, my dear friends, is mine.

Hi there! So you wrote a book and want to get it published? I am a book publishing coach and I teach how to self-publish your book. I show how it’s done in an hour long Zoom session where I explain everything that is needed and go through it with you one-on-one on how to publish on Amazon. While it’s free to publish on Amazon, it is $50 for my dedicated time and valuable knowledge to guide you through it all. Message me if interested or comment below.

Reviews from happy customers:
“All the informations during the meeting were very useful and helped me understand another way about publishing. Thank you Hasina for your insight! - Andreia
“The (Zoom) session was very informative! Happy I attended the event! 🙂 🙂 :)” - Dee
“Please do not hesitate to work with Has Kx if you are stumbling around and need assistance with Kdp or publishing on Amazon. She is a wealth of information and HELP. I am so grateful I was led to her.” - Jo

*please note - self-publishing isn’t cheap - you have to format your book, get a book cover made, edit your book, may need a proofreader, and on top of it all, market it. So while going the traditional way of publishing and waiting 6 months to see if they accept your book may seem the only way to go, it isn’t, you can self-publish it now!

We all have a (bad life) story to tell…in my case, I was orphaned as a baby, adopted at 3 years old, left home when I was only 14 then messed up my life as a teenager and finally moved back to Toronto to live permanently at 18 years old. It was then that I met my future husband and my life turned around for the better, somewhat.

When we were first dating, we were both quite poor, since he was 17 and finishing high school and I was 18 and hardly making any money at my job with minimum wage being $6.85 and barely covering my small basement apartment rental. We couldn’t afford much food or even bus fare (which only cost $1 each way!) and he was living with me and his mother lived 45 minutes away, walking distance. We would walk each night, in the rain or snow, to eat dinner by her. We went through many more poor times but because we shared this together it made us stronger together.

My boyfriend (now my husband) is my “hero” because whatever he says he’ll do, he makes it happen. He made us get through any financial bumps that came our way. He’s amazing!!! I would never of believed that 4 years of dating would be the start of us having 4 beautiful children and being together and married for over 27 years!!!

This is just a glimpse into my autobiography. I wasn’t handed a happy beginning nor maybe a happy middle but my story isn’t over and I learned I can rewrite my ending. I have gone through many life’s struggles, so many emotional traumas and while I search for where I belong, I realize I have to dig deep within to overcome traumas that were handed to me which brings back many emotional triggers.

I welcome you to join me on this emotional journey where I make myself vulnerable, something I have never been before. Follow along with my struggles, the fun times, the mishaps, the hard times, the worst times and wherever my imagination use to take me as a kid when I just wanted to know where my real mother was and why she gave me up.

My autobiography is coming soon…stay tuned!
