So my Clydesdale Horse needs a bit of a refinement. I faced some challenges with my router 😳 Here is what I built for my brother in law for Christmas. It uses some rare earth magnets to stick to the fridge as well as catch the bottletop so it sticks to the wood instead of hitting the floor. I modified one of the macrocarper blanks from Heartwood Creations.

Here is a resin casting I did of an octopus. This one turned out great! Love some of the purple colour's.
Part 2 of my first Resin Skull creation. I used Alcohol ink with resin and some Mico powder for the blue base with a touch of black for the bottom layer. The white ink was too heavy as I did this at the same time as the coasters so I have a lesson learnt when using it with this particular resin. I still like it for my first attempt.

I made my first resin skull from a silicon mold. I used alcohol ink to help provide an interesting effect for the top of the skull. And then Mico powder for the final stages of the pour. Still experimenting and learning.

Yesterday I visited the Auckland Museum with my daughter. We saw the T-Rex display with Peter and Barbara. To say they were impressive is an understatement. Thought I would share the experience.

Chat GPT is a powerful AI but that doesn't mean that it is correct all of the time. Last Night I was cooking the family dinner and a bit stumped on what to cook so I decided to ask ChatGPT what it suggested from the list of things I had available. It came up with a beef stew but added one ingredient that I know does not work. I questioned it and it admitted that it was wrong.

I'm using Nomad Sculpt to make a 3D printable model of a manta ray. I'm using Nomad Sculpt on my iPad pro to create the model from basic geometry to then blend, smooth and manipulate it to make the finished product. I then export it as an STL file and bring it into Cura to splice it ready for 3D printing. What do you think of my Manta Ray?

Here is the final part of the creation of the resin coasters using alcohol ink. It looks like the heavier white sunk to the bottom so next time I think I will dilute the white with isopropyl alcohol so it's not as heavy. This is all a bit of an experiment 😁
