While everyone else is getting ready for TSwift this weekend, is getting ready for Ella’s Bat Mitzvah Shabbat Dinner. All the Jewish baked goods for to celebrate with a wonderful family.

I FINALLY got to do some baking 😃😃😃 Since my new day job and two crazy kids have taken up more of my time, baking has taken a back seat 😢 But here is some delicious challah to get your ready for the weekend.

While the kids are away, Mama will play. Lots of baking has been happening here while the kids are at camp. I have been working through the handbook. So many amazing recipes and all of them are delicious.

It is pie day (without it being 3/14). Kids are at camp and a special birthday request for peach pie which means I got to bake.

And I tried a new crust. cookbook has the most AMAZING pie crust. Not so different ingredient wise, but their technique is stand out. And fresh Texas peaches and blueberries from make for some local summer delicious pies.

Just finished leading a great challah bake with a sweet group of 9 year old girls. It was fun teaching them to bake the challah and see their creative challah creations.

Testing...testing. Let’s see if we can make this happen. Can I make enough to sell them and still get some sleep??? Stay tuned.

We may be a day late but we still had an Israeli birthday celebratory dinner of falafel, Israeli salad, frozen fries and homemade pita. Yum yum and a great way to end the week. Shabbat Shalom!

Some days are just good challah days!! Today was mine.

Where have you been ? Well, it is Girl Scout Cookie season so my girl has kept me busy.

But Starbucks discontinued the morning buns (why😭😭😭) so I set off to make my own this weekend. Croissant dough with cinnamon sugar filling. Not quite there yet, but dang they were good. And I made some plain croissants too.

Nothing like waking up to Sally's Baking Addiction pumpkin scones with maple glaze. A perfect blend of pumpkin spice and the maple glaze. I was eating the glaze off the baking sheet after I made them. So delish. I am pretty sure I’ll be making another batch of these this afternoon.
