As musicians we tend to stay in the background, playing a support role to a headlining artist. Or perhaps, we play a few gigs here and there with a local band performing top 40 songs a few nights a week. For some that will suffice, but now days we’re seeing many musicians stepping outside of the box into artistry.

Recently it’s been mentioned by a few of our veteran musician friends what they regret the most about their careers as musicians, and that is that they didn’t create their own music, but always found themselves in the “support” role. Remember, music doesn’t require lyrics. It’s time for you to take your shot at artistry, and develop an organic fanbase for yourself.

Nothings wrong with “support”, we simply wanted you to know that there is more.
